I finally got my Virgin Current Account unfrozen a couple of weeks ago after waiting over three months.  They gave me £50 for the hassle, so probably worth it in the end!

Did they give you an explanation? Touch wood I never had any trouble opening my accounts I thought it might have been because I had banked at Yorkshire Bank for awhile

They just said the identification documents I uploaded went missing or never arrived.  Apparently its not an uncommon occurrence.  The reason it took so long to resolve was obviously the coronavirus thing.

This is the only account I didn't open, fearing the interest rate would drop to zero....
and all the others have whilst  Virgin remains at 2%

I didn't know, but had assumed one.  funkycredit mentioned that he held 3 'VM accounts' I was just checking he was referring to the current accounts and not different VM accounts.
