it is about 30% faster than my current i7-3630qm, with full hd, but the killer is i do not think it supports 2 sata devices :(

the seller has decent reviews too. I has to be as described, private seller or not. I'd take the chance if i needed one! Possibly I have too much faith in my fellow humans? :)

    It’s gone now.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Just a warning. After purchasing the laptop on Ebay from advice a few posts back, the seller refunded the money the very next day via Paypal stating that they didn't have the item in stock, it was a mistake. The refund is still pending almost a week later AND today I see that Paypal have taken that amount from my liked bank account even though the money is being refunded. I smell a scam....

I'm not an expert in Paypal transactions but I know that if you are not a frequent buyer, sometimes they hold the money for a few days before releasing it.

And earn interest from it no doubt. Paypal have become a nightmare in slow bank transactions. The last one nearly took 2 months to get money from a Paypal account to a uk bank account. Is the war still on or something ?

    Definitely no scam.
Are you sure that they have taken it or refunded it?
Perhaps just the way you pay. I pay Paypal by CC. So refunds go Paypal and then back to the CC.

Doesn't make sense that they would only take the payment today. Why not when you purchased?

I think that you have made an error and assumed a credit as a debit.

Earn interest? Maybe £1 of interest on your £200 if they hold it for an entire year.

Blame incompetence, scam, excessive caution, or whatever you will. But a conspiracy to cheat you out of a few pence interest is not very plausible.

I paid for the item from my Paypal account which didn't have all the funds needed so the rest was paid via my linked nominated uk bank. I can send money to that account instantly from Paypal so why has it taken till now for the payment to go out ? In fact, it should't have even gone out as they cancelled the order. Its a Paypal error but again, I will get no joy dealing with their diabolical customer service.
