It certainly wasn't a waste of your time as I purchased the very laptop and got it for £212 which wasn't much over. Thanks for the advice and hope it serves her well. I did forget to check if it can pick up wifi but I am sure it can :T:T:T:TRealtek RTL8821CE 802.11 b/g/n/ac (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo
Do check the full specs when it arrives. If they are wrong, let them know. They may be able to replace it with a device of the advertised spec or just offer a full refund.

Well, I managed to re-sell every single laptop that I have ever owned, so all in all I still think that I saved quite a lot, compared to buying used.
Why do you insist on posting this kind of :money:?
I paid £200 for a £500 laptop still under it's original warranty.
You pay £500 for a £500 laptop.
How do the resale values differ?
You didn't save anything compared to buying used. You just paid more in the first place. That is the only difference.
I could likely sell my laptop right now, for more than I paid for it.0 -
Another example of their inability to list properly; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-14S-DQ0000NA-Intel-I3-7020U-8GB-RAM-128GB-SSD-14-Silver-963275/362854831819
Probably due to under-staffing/laziness.0 -

Now you are putting doubt in my mind after I made a purchase with this company0 -

Anyway, why are you so obsessed with everything I write? You should focus on people recommending Chromebooks, brand new laptops or laptops without a ips screens (must be crazy).0 -
Latest ebay code is

I said I 'paid' £500, I didn't say that the laptop was worth £500. I used a promotion that made me save quite a lot for that laptop, still the laptop was brand new.

I don't care about anything that you write. It's just that you chose to quote me earlier. That brought you to my attention.
Then I realised that most of wrote you wrote tended to not make much sense. Especially in this thread.
I have no idea as to how much you pay for your laptops, the £500 was just a figure plucked out of the air for the purpose of illustration.
I suppose that you would like us to believe that on every new laptop that you bought and subsequently sold, you "used a promotion that made me save quite a lot for that laptop, still the laptop was brand new".
Just looks like you tried to hijack the thread for no reason at all. You certainly did not help the OP in any way.
But here you are still posting anyway.
Another for the ignore list methinks..0 -

You need to fix your mind. No need to make a drama out of everything.
If they have made a mistake in the listing, they can arrange to pick it up and give you a full refund or swap it for the correct model or equivalent.
Why make a mountain out of a molehill?0
