Managed just over £600 this month, with a bit of cash returned from the wound up Woodford fund (we had written this off, which is why we can count it this time). Planning to pay off the last bit of mortgage later this month so savings will be checked a bit.

I think the avoidance of potential import duties on vehicles is an excellent excuse reason for buying a new car @Wentthedaywell? and @george4064 B)

#22 reporting £1228.99 saved in September and form updated. Returned to work on 1st September, so very happy with that total. Is slowlyfading ok? I noticed the spreadsheet hasn't been updated with my August total yet, and she hasn't posted on here that I could see. I hope she is well. Keep going everybody!
  • £453.52 for September - repairs to get through the MOT (not at the shiny new car stage yet!) and  birthdays and a few day trips out. Would be amazed if I make my total this year, but month by month I'm pretty happy with how I've coped with everything.

#147 here. £250 for October, my regular saver matures this month. Putting aside £1,535 in savings but I’m not counting that as I’m buying myself an expensive treat for my birthday, also with no proper holiday and going through some emotional things, so just needed this. Form updated, Thanks slowlyfading x
