I am new to this. What a great idea to goad each other on.
I'm in with a target of £20k in 2020.

I am very new to this as well but I want to join the challenge.
I want to try and save £5,000 this year.0 -
In 2020, the aim is to save $35k. Wish me a good health to achieve this target!0

Looking forward to declaring my savings on the 31st. Will be saving throughout the month but just going to update once on the 31st and send the form.0

I'll do the update form at the end of each month too, however to keep myself accountable and make sure I'm up to date, I'll update my signature whenever I pay something into savings.
So far I've saved:
£200 in my HTB ISA
£100 in regular saver
£9.55 by rounding up spends
£19 from rewards payouts (e.g Barclays Blue rewards)
£4.30 from survey payouts
£0.80 roadkill
£23.17 earned in interest.
Could probably put away a little more now rather than the end of the month, but I have a few bills due through the post. And after a long stint of being skint for YEARS, having the money in my current account and in the black is really good for my mental wellbeing (I know it's a bit daft because even if it was in my savings, it's still mine, but it stops me being anxious so there we go).Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
Save £12k in 2021 #76 = £11,857.21/ £10,000 (118%)0 -
Week 1 ..£365.66 saved this week ,,very pleased with this it has been a hard week counting and budgeting every penny but it has definitely paid off ..I will update on the 31st with the full amount0

Hello, first transfer of the year - £105 off to my Marcus account. I did a few extra hours at work to cover sickness. It should go in until the end of February and will go straight to savings.Trying to keep in budget.

Made a good start this week redeeming £37.86 in cashback and survey vouchers. Need to work out what counts as new savings vs recycling old savings into my many regular savers.
Have also signed up for some new aps: zipzero, snap my eats . They will give me cash back on my receipts so I found myself today photographing the same receipt for: my expenses, zipzero, snap my eats, shoppix and receipt Hog!Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Thank you - I made a comment here ages ago and I am not on the spreadsheet so I thought I did something wrong - I'll try to be more patient!!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
