Ok! Gosh I missed the forum! I didn’t realise how much I enjoy writing everything down. Soooo I had a v productive day yesterday money wise. I couldn’t figure out when I was getting paid as the app kept changing its mind and not releasing any funds. But I phoned them (well OH did because I was scared) and it turns out there was a verification request on the account I had missed. So I dealt with that and funds should be appearing on the 12th. I worked out i should have around £124 over this month. I need to get £10 out as we’re having fish and chips tonight, it’s something we do every other week that the children love. But we haven’t done it for over w month as we’ve both been so poorly. Usually OH would pay but I took £10 out of his wallet this morning for my nails as I was so tired I couldn’t remember what I’d done with all my change! But the rest I’m going to save for day to day expenses, like Mays hair cut, half term days out and parties etc.

Other good news is I got my tax rebate £102! Oh how I would love to save this. But I really need to reinvest in the business and as I hadn’t accounted for it appearing, I will order some equipment!

I really didn’t sleep well last night. I got to sleep at about 4, went and had my nails done this morning then had a couples interview with OH for a local company. Now I’m home, in my usual place on the sofa. So we didn’t have dinner last night, we just ate the left overs from the event, there’s so many cakes left over they’ll be great for lunchboxes! So tonight’s sausage and mash will carry over to next week, along with yesterday’s ingredients for chilli.

Last nights event went well. Although I struggled with what to wear, as I’m not a dress sort of person but I found an old one and combined with a cardi and tights I looked half decent! But we have an event in the big city on the 20th and I need something to wear for that! So I am currently searching eBay! Don’t really want to spend anymore than £20 on a dress and jacket. Did super well last night though and because I’m super organised I managed to get really cheap train tickets. Usually we book so late it’s at least twice as much! But not now so it’s all good!

Think that’s about it! It’s been a bit of a strange week, but we’re getting there!

Ok saturday. I’m really trying to put a positive spin on things. But I am so tired I could cry. Work was awful yesterday. Kids wouldn’t listen and classes were full. Really struggled to get the messages through to them. Then when I went to bed I was up twice in the night, baring in mind I only got 4.5 hours sleep anyway, as May had nightmares. Am literally hanging on my a thread today. Am currently at dancing then need to teach, drop children off and then clean and go home, only to drive 2 hours to stay in a travel in to be up nice and early tomorrow. Want to get to the travel in nice and early so that I can chill and read my book.

Saving money and being frugal is taking its toll when I’m this tired. The absolute last thing I wanted to do was make 4 packed lunches when I’m this tired. But I did, and saved ourselves £16 on meal deals. It probably cost £1.50 to make them. I’ve got my coffee and sweets for smalls instead of buying them at dancing. But god I’m just so tired.

Try a container of "patio magic" to use before you pressure wash the patio. About a fiver and highly recommended. It works with a broom and hose too, if you wanted to return the pressure washer...

You seem to do an awful lot of running around.  Is it possible to have a week off, with no kids clubs, dancing etc, just to give yourself  some breathing space?  ((hugs))

Hi Chrystal, thanks so much for posting! This week will be easier as the children are at their dads for half the week, so not so much running around and not so early mornings. Can really do with the sleep time to be honest. OH is out all day Tuesday and Wednesday for work and a funeral so I am going to have some much needed down time then. Work went ok today. Feel so tired and crappy though as I still haven’t trained, I feel fat and horrid and just want to sleep it have to drive for overnight stay and meeting tomorrow. Currently sat in a cafe about to have a v late lunch as have barely eaten anything and the packed lunches were eaten forever ago. It’s also become a bit of a Saturday tradition. OH pays  and it saves us cooking and it’s in our village so supports a local business and it’s cheap. Yes we could save this money but I absolutely couldn’t be doing with sorting food right now.

Thank you for this, our patio is looking awful, I'll give it a go.

Having an awful time at the moment. Will post later but life has got a lot more difficult right now. Not sure how we’re going to cope or how we’re going to afford it. Sorry to be cryptic but not sure how to explain.

Ok so OH made a stupid driving mistake at the weekend and may lose his licence but will have to wait for letter re points etc. But quite sure he will. Have no idea how much fines will be etc. Please don’t judge, OH is a f@£&ing idiot and he knows it and things are very fraught at the moment, me and OH are struggling to be civil and can’t be in the same room as we just argue. Understandably he feels so bad about it all. Please I don’t need judgmental comments, I need help.... I need a cuddle.

I have no idea how life will be, hard probably if I have to drive everywhere. But I’m going to have to take each day as it comes until I know more.

So I’m trying to live as close to the bone as possible. But before this I bought some books as Xmas presents over the weekend whilst we were away, and I ended up having to pay for meal on Saturday night as OH was so upset. Coffee today as needed to let it all out to friend. So in total I have spent £55. Need to look at stuff coming in and out of bank as haven’t kept up to day the last few days.

Went to aldi today and spent £15, this was out of my account as forgot OH’s card. Was pleased with aldi, Don’t usually go but was with friend and she needed stuff too. I got salad, bananas, beans, bread, broccoli, cereal bars, shredded wheat, crisps, snickers bars, milk, bolognese sauce, mushrooms and that’s all I can remember. V pleased with the shredded wheat, crisps, snickers as we’re not the branded ones but great cheaper versions. Realised I need about another £10 worth of stuff as need cat food and yoghurts and marmite and potatoes and onions, but that’s it hopefully.

Just had a message from Ex to say that May is poorly and can I pick her up early tomorrow as he has a dentist appointment. Men! I’ve had to cancel so many appointments because children have been poorly!

Had a bit of enough at the moment.
