Ahhhhhh it's been so long! The world is a little bit odd at the moment and I completely kept putting this at the back of my to do list.

Hope everyone is okay and well and coping in this stressful time.

#78 checking in with Overpayment of £500 in April and £560 in May.
YTD Total £1282 (Zero payments in Feb & Mar)
We breached 10% which was our goal as our Fixed Rate ends in September. Not exactly how I expected to remortgage for the first time but I guess I'll see if I'm able too. Wish me luck!

    Hi (No 73)
£100 for May pls (May total £100) so far
I phoned car insurance firm today to check why my renewal amount was high and to tell them i could get a much better deal and cash back as well
So after a long wait the lovely guy came back and said they would match the amount plus the cash back amount as well.  So i saved £65 and made it to up to £100 with a bit of survey money and sent it on its way to my mortgage.  Result and no waiting for weeks for cash back, it makes you feel good when something goes your way doesn;t it
    Keep safe everyone, thanks julicorn

Julicorn, thank you for letting me know that I'd hit my target.  Hadn't expected that as we had been going to buy a car this year but glad we didn't as using it even less than we usually do (it gets run out a couple of times a week at most usually, now once a week for the shopping).  Also wedding likely being pushed back so might be able to put more in this year.
If you raise me to £27000 as reckon that is as much as we can put in before we have to look at asking them to reduce the minimum payment again without accidentally paying it off early.
