Oooooh can i be a part of this?
It'll be slow going at the moment as I'm paying off debt and saving for a big holiday for the kids.
At the moment we over pay about £6 per month but this will be £17.69 from June as our rate is going down but we will be keeping the payment of £700 p/m the same.

Off the top of my head we owe approx £178,000 on a 28 year deal *i think*

  • Good Evening
Please could I join your gang. I have just left the debt free section as today I have finally become debit free and I don’t want to get used to having the money spare, plus not much to spend it on at the mo. I would like to set an ambitious £5400 as this is 10% of our current balance and I believe I can OP 10% of our starting balance.  Current mortgage free date is July 2034 but I am aiming for Dec 2027. I will then start on our second mortgage recently taken out for extension. But not even thinking about that now, just going to let the regular dd  go out for this in the background. Thanks for letting me join half way through but really excited to get cracking
    thanks xx

Current mortgage total: £54,762.71 Current mortgage end date: June 2032 Daily interest: £7.59 > £2.64

Of course you can. Just let me know how much you want to overpay this year in total, and how much you've overpaid so far in total, and I'll give you a number :)

#61. Making May overpayment of £500 making total for May 552.27.

So many people are struggling but my husband has found work making us more able to pay off more as we’re used to just my salary for such a long time.

    thanks
