Hi, Can I join please?  We completed on a house a couple of weeks ago and have already made our first payment :):) which, according to a calculator I found online means we have already paid £898 off the principle :):)

I'm still working out how much to put down as an overpayment each month and how much to put towards the six month emergency fund (savings interest is rubbish right now isn't it).

Exciting to be at the start of the mortgage free journey.  We have had a spell off the property ladder and my aim is to pay off before we reach retirement age but I do want us to enjoy the next few years as well.

    :)
