Just a general update, I've now received a letter confirming dates for my WS and documents to be in by 23/09, the claim is listed as 'paper disposal without hearing' on the 19/11.
    Obviously not OK.

You have objected and said ''no'' because you don't want to lose...of course. If you don't understand why a paper hearing is an ABSOLUTE NO-NO, then you aren't following our advice and have gone so far off piste that you risk losing.
I've not agreed to this, I'm just stating the letter I've received today. I didn't even know you could just go paper only I am looking over the newbie thread and I am reading the updated thread in regards to the telephone hearings but I'm still not quite getting it. I don't see how to argue against this and go for telephone hearing?

Isn't there a draft letter to use in the 'Telephone Hearings' thread?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You were not told to read the NEWBIES thread for that:

Here's some immediate advice - do not agree to a hearing on the papers, the chances of losing are much, much higher that way. Since the greater use of the method we have only seen one successful case, but many more unsuccessful ones.

Please read Coupon-mad's 'Telephone Hearings' thread which will explain in detail why you don't want to go down the 'papers' route, and how you should respond to the court to get this to a telephone hearing as a minimum, but ideally a face-to-face event.

Oh my goodness, it's more I had to go through the entire thread to reach that point and was utterly confused by why you all kept pointing me to a thread that states 'telephone hearing's when I'm not up to that point. I appreciate the help, I finally found Coupon's response with their draft.

Though I appreciate your response, no one said NOT TO. I saw the link to the telephone thread and then Umkomaas kindly also stated to go to the telephone thread. I didn't realise your kindly laid out draft was on page 14 so I was confused as usually they're pinned to page 1.

I know, sorry if I've agitated you into thinking I've not read anything, I am reading but didn't realise your response was so much further in, maybe mention to people to read the entire thread for it to make sense.
