BW LEGAL pre CCJ letter

Thanks guys.
I recieved an email from premier park PDO this morning saying that they can not give me SAR without 3 pieces if ID scanned over to them?
They also said that it will take up to 30 days and my 30 days with BW LEGAL ends on the 12th.
It's only the 2nd of jan and I'm done with the circus already !
Its just so confusing, honestly... couldn't do it without you guys.
All you need is a copy of your V5 which confirms the info they received from the DVLA. You never send further data to these people.
They know what's going on with the dates so advise BWLegal that you are taking debt advice and to extend by 30 days
Yes it is a circus, you are now playing poker with the best hand0 -
🙏🏼 thank you!
My V5c has my old address on it though does that matter?
Also do I have to scan, or can i take a picture of it and email it to them?0 -

OMG ?????? You have not updated your V5, DO IT TODAY before you are fined by the DVLA ... up to £1000 ?
So, you are receiving all the PPC stuff at your old address YES ?
Or have you told them of your new address0 -
I told the dvla about the move via a form online and they sent me a new driver's licence card with new address on but not new log book .. is this separate thing then?
It was BW LEGAL that sent me letter at new address about PCN and that was he first I'd heard of it as all other stuff previously had gone to previous address0 -
I didnt change straight away because I was living in a number of temporary addresses over a period of time and my ex husband still lived at the address so thought would be okay.
I've just looked on dvla site and seen it is a separate thing.
So I have to send whole log book off .. do I do that now and not send to premier park with old address on and wait for new one to come back and do it then with new address on?
If so, what do I tell them to bide me time until it comes back?
Uhh ..what a mess.0 -

Two separate things, your licence is for life whereas you can change cars when you want.
It's free so read what to do on V5 DO IT NOW
BWLegal have your new address so you will now know every move they make.
Best thing then is a household bill and redact things like payments and account number. I would not send a drivers licence0 -
You updated your driving licence but failed to update the car's V5C address. If course it's not the same thing. Sort that failure out sharpish! You can get a real £1000 fine from the DVLA for failing to do the V5C.
Of course it matters that the V5C has the wrong address as it won't identify you at your current address.
I'd wait till you get your new one with the new address on the V5C, then reapply for the SAR, given that no-one gets their SAR back before defence and no-one needs it really, till it comes in useful at the later stages. Same as pretty much all other cases re defences here.
At LBC stage, you MUST contact BW next week by email and tell them to erase your old address data and what your address for service of court papers actually is, to prevent them doing to the wrong address and then all court paperwork going the same way.
You need to sort this out with all parties including BW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys,
So I sent off the log book straight away.
Since I first contacted bw legal weeks ago when I first made this thread I followed the advise and notified bw legal straight away with all the other info they asked for. They chose to ignore parts of the email.. mainly the data Rectification notice of my new address because the next time I heard from them was their snotty email (because i asked them to account for the extra £100 they'd put on bill) asking for my address again.
Now, they've just sent me this email denying me the extension on the hold.
"We can confirm that your address has been ammended accordingly.
Please also note that your accoutn is on hold until the 11 January 2020 whilst you seek debt advise, collections activity will continue and the balance will remain due and owing after this timeframe should no evidence be provided."
So if I cant obtain SAR what do I do now ?
Does this mean they will sent debt collectors to my house?0 -
If you submitted a SAR to the DPO of the PPC and you supplied them with evidence of ID, either scan of your V5C (even if it had wrong address on it) or a scan of the PCN they sent you, they have 30 days to respond and this has nothing to do with case being put on hold. If they fail to supply the info requested, send a complaint to the ICO.0
