Thanks Velvet freak and Daisy it's lovely someone read my drivel.

All good just been busy with work two weeks minus 1 day to go which is great. Met with my new linemanger yesterday she's only been in the organisation 8 months but newly promoted. I think we'll get on well and she's got some good ideas for how we can start to use my skills which is fab could not wish for better. Did not get the one day opportunity not really my skill set as I slightly miss the point of the application but nice feedback and there might be others more my area.

So part time it is then a bit of a drop monthly to what I was getting but doable for sure just not able to save as much as I was. We save jointly for house maintenance and holidays so won't need that just my car which is quite new and phone etc.

Weekend away was lovely really good to get away unfortunately I sprained my toe two days before we went away so no golf even though we were staying in a golf hotel. Spent quite a bit but saw friends two sets and Denmark won the football which was fun to watch together. The boys were fine with the cat sitters and they are going to do the week we're in both Denmark. That's if we get to go we both have that vaccine produced in India the joys. Really really need to see my family really soon.

Big game tonight unfortunate semi final could be again you know who but I'll take one game at a time. Playing golf tomorrow did a few holes yesterday my toe is ok.  Also back at PT and doing pump which is great feel better for it. Dg still doing her course and I think it might be working less outburst about work although we did have one when she didn't play that well last night.

Today need to do some stuff around the house and sort new cupboard and old ones out plus by some storage boxes etc. Then it's football x 2 lol.

Garden is amazing getting lots of produce from it here's a small selection all grown out the front so not that much space. The new potatoes are so good and loads of them.

    Have a lovely weekend

Your veggies look so nice and those little potatoes are adorable. I've had many attempts at veggie gardening but have never been very successful, mainly because I always forget to water them

What a day of football yesterday was. Watched my game at home and went next door to see the next one. Missed most if it but good results and now the big one on Wednesday. As a Dane I might be able to get one of the 5000 tickets allocated to Denmark as the fan cannot come in without isolating for two weeks. Not sure if dg can go but what an opportunity if we can go.

Golf today she has cancelled playing with two others so will be a nice game. Breakfast then up and at it luckily I’m not hungover.

Alert this is not money saving. Have now registered for the tickets to the game one of our cat sitters who work in London wants to come too. Mid price tickets are £300 each do get a Danish football shirt and scarf. Ive told them to cheer on Denmark lol.

We shall see what tomorrow brings a lot to fit in next week but once in a life time opportunity.

So today is the day must admit it's going to be a long one and with work tomorrow feel exhausted already. Aim to leave before 2pm depends on dg really. Going to need a few bits sorting during the day such as correct size rucksack max size A4 passport and parking permit. New tyre fitted yesterday so that's all done but 85 quid as knackered from the puncture.

Getting a bit overwhelmed to be honest with work and also sorting trip to Denmark out seems a minefield with the testing etc beforehand plus booking car parking etc. Still don't know if BA will mass us around and cancel our flights but will book it all today can't really wait any longer. Going to chance it and not book the return tests yet in case it's all scrapped on the 19th for double vaccinated.

Really really miss my family now and would find it hard if we can't go but onwards and upward I guess.

Hopefully see you on the other side.

Sorry again silence running on empty but not all bad.

Wembley was amazing so glad I went we did manage to get two Danish shirts and friend who came was lovely. Lots of fun banter and no nasty ness between the two sets of fans. Shame it's all over now cruel way to end in penalties you have my commiserations I was of course rooting for England last night.

PCR tests arrived ready for sending off Tuesday or Wednesday need to check. Also upgraded flights to business class so can take a suit case extra and also get lounge access. It's £79 each but I think worth it. Parking booked so fingers crossed no negative tests or BA cancels the flights. Really wants to see my family now all presents are bought too.

Friends over Friday night that was fab too long time since we'd seen them booked to go to a comedy night with them in August should be good.

4 days work left my last 4 day week then it will be 3 really cannot wait. Well can't wait to have two weeks off actually.

Well best get on with work so much to fit in this last week.
