Wow garden looks amazing. Love the purple flowers. The cats look like they have settled in well. Always nerve racking letting them out for the first time. xx

The Kitties look happy.  Such a joy.  And the garden looks lovely.  A great place to rest and relax.  The PT job sounds idyllic to me, it gives you so much choice with what to do with your time.  Enjoy it!

Thanks all sorry I've been missing in action been busy with golf and work all good though spent so much money last month I had to sip into savings but that did include taxing my car twice as it had not been done since Aug 20 as I didn't change my address very stupid but all done now. MOT and service today loads of money too.

Garden is still lovely and the pool has been fab in the heat do like a bit of rain now as it's very dry. Lovely to eat fresh veggies lettuce, radish, peas and strawberries so far plus loads of herbs. French beans being eaten by something but courgettes doing well and potatoes soon.

Getting a bit fed up with my current work it's all power play which is crazy as I'm doing what I should be doing in terms of handover but they are micro managing me. Seen a new secondment opportunity away from HQ one day a week for 6 months. My new head thinks it's amazing (old one would not have approved) I know the place well and it's interesting. They want to see how people from HQ can work with the outside world which is great but with my experience of the outside world so to speak this one will suit all parties even better. Need to get the application done soon it closes next week.

Cats are settling in Elmo has totally settled Stitch a bit less but getting here. Got a new cat flap which makes life easier for them and us. They make us laugh everyday which is great.

Dg is still struggling but good news is that she's done her first session on CBT online next live one is tonight. I watched it with her and it looks like a mixture of anxiety and depression. Not full on but crops up every now and then. She's still looking at working as a consultant but taking it slowly and there's loads of work on right now so doing lots of hours. She seems calmer and think the online stuff might actually work. Good on her Gap for suggesting it.

Started Mystery shopping again done three spent £55 got £30 back so not bad for three full meals and drinks. Doing another one really easy and gets us out. Not good for the diet put on weight but still doing PT.

I still hope to go to Denmark on the 19th shame Boris moved the date we can pay for tests and were both vaccinated so that's good too.

Think I'll leave it there here's a recent picture of the boys.

Afternoon all so the weekend is here which is much appreciated been another long one. Still donning PT but instructor is messing us around a bit and always changes dates and times. Missed one session this week due to this and last week we had none still saves money lol and I'll be back at pump next week. Cannot wait.

Tonight we have DGs old friends coming over one of them in also mine who I have not seen for 5 years. We had a kind of falling out due to her being jealous of dg and me (we were always out just the three of us). It's never really been resolved and with lockdown it's been hard to anyone. DGs plan is to react like nothing happened I.l try but her husband is picking them up and he was a major reason for why it all ended so badly for how he treated dg and me. Anyway will be good to see them and I'll just have to smile and hope No one gets too drunk and anything is said that shouldn't.

Shame the weather is so rubbish we could have sat the garden but it has enjoyed the rain but looking a bit sad right now.

Hottub was neglected a bit so had to give it a massive dose of chlorine so hopefully it will correct it self. Really not doing great on that at the moment. Shower is back up and he's coming out to sort the switch out so it can be turned off.

I think that's it for now hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Yes sorry to have been awol evening was good no issues everyone had a nice time they came just after 5 and went home after 11. Friend didn’t get drunk and was nice seeing her even the husband.

This weekend we went to see dogs friends in Herts. Stayed in hotel with golf course but Thurs I stubbed my toe so couldn’t play. Done spa and chilling so nice seeing them too. Also so another friend on the way up. Unfortunately the back tyre got a puncture but Flexplus recovery came out in 10 min and are putting proper spare tyre on now. I can then get it fixed at home. Handy that Flexplus with Nationwide worth having.

Nice to have today off going back now snd playing our own course that’s free and we can get a buggy for my foot. I don’t think it’s broken but not sure as not right.

Money wise not good not able to save £1000k this month will only be £500. Car tax needs doing and mot and service plus had haircut. Never mind nice being out again doing things.
