Thanks both Stitch is now coming out for cuddles which is lovely. Elmo does swipe at you and hiss even bite but he's still nervous so not surprising. I'll get some more pictures up when Stitch is a bit calmer.

Doing an ice breaker with my team today show me your happy place here is mine
I've loved having this little polly tunnel and have early veg. Can't wait to fill up all the pots etc with more veg.

Nice idea for an icebreaker. My garden is fast becoming mine. Miserable wet day here so can only look out at it. X

Morning Mrs_money_penny thanks for popping by. The icebreaker worked really well quite quick which we needed and most had pictures of their loved ones rather than places so some nice stories and pictures of large families.

Did not sleep well thinks it because of uncertainty of work and dg being all upset about work again. She has now signed up to some online counselling but it's day time which I do not think will work but there will be other courses I hope.

Interesting development re my work team as one of them is leaving she got the full time job in the same team I applied for so we will continue to work together which is fab as she's so so good. I don't think I would have got the FT role over her but also a bit odd the wanted two from the same team but obviously fine by me. Been told I'll not be able to do two days my contract will end 31/7 and I need to do my full two months notice. That's fine just strange as they will now need to recruit for two other posts as my manager is leaving too. I'm sure she's got the flowers but she's not said anything.

My IFA has cancelled as he's twisted his knee which is a shame. I'm going to see what happens but also secretly happy about being part time even if it is a reduction which would mean no savings but I could live of those wages for sure.

Boys are getting braver here is Stitch

Still not heard re full or part time will chase her Monday finance does take a long time usually. What will be will be but I do not think I would have got the full time post as the person who got is the best one in my current team.

Work has been busy but almost caught up which is nice. Treated myself to a Rocketbook as I use so much paper and I sometimes need to keep the notes and it's a mess when you try to find something later. I might get into the habit of scanning the notes thing that would work well actually.

Weather is awful so windy and cold do not feel like my lesson tomorrow. Let's see if the pro cancels would be handy.

Cats still improving although freaked by the weather I think. Lovely cuddles in the morning and still fun with them both drinking out of the bathroom taps. Need to book them in for worming and flee treatment.

Are you going to get them microchipped as well?  looks like it will be the law soon, so if you can do it now, it will save trouble later on.

Thanks guys sorry I've been missing in action. Cats a fine getting used to us and are desperate to get out now but will have to wait. Going to the vets tomorrow to get them flee and worm treatment they are chipped and up to date with vaccinations so would rather pay monthly to get them done.

Got my own Rocketbook they are good look forward to not having so much paper on my desk and be able to actually scan the pages too.

Accepted the part time role there was no more budget but that is fine. My current role does not look like they have any hours for me so shall enjoy working three days a week plan is for me to play golf Thursdays with the club and maybe look into something for the Friday maybe further studies or something not sure might just chill.

Me getting this part time role has now unbalanced dg again with her job. She has signed up for a course to do with mental health online but it's in work time so not ideal. I think she's still grieving doe her mum and that's making her struggle with work and her headspace. The gp was good she felt better after speaking to him and looked into that course too. Feeling drained with it all but as long as she doesn't quite work it should be fine she'll have time to look for something else even it it's not in law but lower paid. She'll just have to work longer or we will have to live off my money.

Best get back to work sorry for he depressing post.

Afternoon another week and we've got a taste of Summer. Even went in the pool which was lovely and long overdue. Garden is looking fab with the purple flowers coming out. Got dgs uncle to paint the gate in the back cream looks amazing can't wait for the rest of the fence to be done.

Cats are lovely lots of fluff and mess but well worth it and so much fun. Financially not going too well got some work on the house down yesterday £300 but needed doing and although I could have got it cheaper it was easy and quick this way.

Had to cancel the dinning room chairs on order from Made.com as I realised I had ordered the wrong colour leg. Still got free delivery and it was £60 cheaper. Sadly it won't be until Aug until we get them but we need to go to London to see them so that gives us more time.

Still not seen IFA hopefully soon and need to sit down and plan my money so I have pots for everything such as car maintenance, travel and gifts etc.

Need to go and measure the other gate it needs new brackets.

    A few pictures
