Spoke to one of the people on the panel today he asked what I thought. I said I'd waffled and not got to the point he just said you were fine. Awkward so didn't want to ask too much but sounds like more interviews Friday. He is nice and we were talking about mutual work so that was good. I could work with him for sure.

Spoke to the people who has the cats we are going to collect them on Saturday. They are not as scared as I thought it's just kids one of them do not get on with and the cat over the back. They look so cute can't wait to meet them not long now.

Need my bed I'm so tired night all.

Morning TGIF I'm glad been such a long week.

Got my paint in B&Q at the right price in 5litre tins so just need to collect it. They had offered to pay the difference but all good now and good service.

Made.com when I eventually came through to them via chat not only offered a full refund they will also send me a box so I can send it back to them. I just want a credit and hope for the the best with the £45 B&Q one with bad reviews but I'm hoping it's just because it's not been cured properly you need to light loads of small fires first.

Did PT in the morning and the bootcamp but good to get out. Work is manic and no news on jobs or the other interview.

Dg had another meltdown with work. She does do long hours and last night she just decided to take a sickie today and she still talks about giving up and resigning. It's not the right thing to do but she won't talk to her supervisor but if she quits I believe it will be her last job in Law as they are so funny about this sort of thing. The company is excellent they will help her but right not they can't as they do not know.

Well cats to look forward to tomorrow and should have a chat with my IFA this evening. Hard to plan things when DG is so uncertain on everything. Still being mortgage free and able to save is amazing.

Thank you yes I am grateful.
Friday I didn't think the meeting with my IFA was on as he didn't send me a zoom link. Ops he thought I was coming to his office just shows how I have forgotten about real life. He thinks I will be positively surprised by his pension calculations. Seeing him on Wednesday instead.

No news about job or job interview I don't think I've got the job but should hopefully get interview for second job I went for. Let's see.

Saturday got my colours done and dg had golf lesson before setting off to collect the cats. Long long journey but beautiful last hour or so through the Peak District. So impressed how amazing it is. Nice bonus. Collected the cats they were actually very friendly even with us around but knew something was up. Owners were in tears by the time we left and we cried too it was awful like we were stealing them. Got loads and loads of stuff with us new carriers, three cat trees loads of treats. Put them in second bedroom they went under the bed and are still there. They are eating and used the litter tray plus the front door mat. One does not like litter trays but obviously cannot go outside yet. Got home just before midnight 500 miles but my car did it on one tank.

Today chilling hit some golf balls and went to Pets at Home. Think it will be our new favourite shop lol. Need to sort the cat stuff out and tidy up before next week hits us. Horribly wet here not a gardening day.

Spending-wise not good joint account taking a hit cats need their own spending pot.

Now that was a surprise got a call at 9.30 I've got the part time job. I'm very happy and have accepted however when I said I was hopefully keeping my old job two days a week she was like if I could get the budget to have you full time would you be interested. Would I ever so she said she would see what she can do about that and for me not to tell my manager yet. She then called back 10 min later she's spoken to finance she will know tomorrow end of play. So I've told my line manager who is telling next boss up but not telling the team as don't know yet obviously. Sent flowers to cat mum and also my manager so many things to be grateful for.
Money all over the place still but increase at least if I get to keep my old job two days and big payrise if it's full time. Very happy obviously will be even happier when I know what's happening doe sure by tomorrow. Work busy but all good.

Had a few cat cuddles coming out a bit more but still mainly under the bed.

Thanks guys really appreciate it I probably should have gone for the full time one but my mum said not too as manager was applied for the same role full time role. My mum is usually right and perhaps this is the right job even if it's just part time. If I could get permanent part time I think I'd be happy as I hate changing jobs every couple of years.
Got two months notice so that will most likely mean start after my holiday in Denmark. So no rush really plus got loads of appointments booked for this job to finish.

In other news dg has spoken to gp about her mental health/ grief suggested an app to work on everything so sounds positive for now. He's said the same as me it does affect the brain constantly being in high alert.

Here's a picture of the braver of the two boys
