Had a fun night last night playing virtual bingo with a drag queen yes random but we won a lipsync Andrew lines. You have to watch RU Paul understand I'm guessing.

But heady this morning but the gardener came over she's so nice and good. We worked from 9am to 12 and got everything done that could be done. Turns out the large planters we so root bound due to the membrane in there some of the grass was dying. Got it sorted and trimmed the bed at the back so it now looks bare but it will soon shoot up. Very happy and nice chatting to someone else for a change.  I now know how to tackle the front garden and where I want my veg patch so happy days.  Weather has been so lovely felt like summer really helped the mood for sure.

We should have over £600 surplus in the joint account this month amazing what was spent on that flat in London. Golf membership will start in April but no payment until May now as paid in Jan when closed. Want to save up for maintenance of house.

Also found out who for the job a lady who works in a team I work with a lot. They usually go for roles in my team as step up so I know I could have got that job. She is good and she deserves it been there a long time and helped me out many times. I'll miss her actually. Still wasn't to be but I've got better idea for next time.

Tomorrow is a trip to the tip with all the garden rubbish and more gardening plus some bulk cooking. Tonight it's hottub and might be an early night knackered.  NSD too will tot it all up tomorrow.

Feel like I've done a lot today but still not done everything mind you it's still a month until golf reopens. Got the washline put in the ground with one and half bag of postcrete so should not move again now.

Got my raised bed laid out and worked out where the paving slabs are down as steps. Won't be able to use the frame I have for the climbing bean so got some bamboo sticks will do fine instead. Also got all the paving washed in chlorine so should hopefully come up nice now. Got all the stones stuck down by the outdoor shower now we just need resin down after it's been cleaned so it's not green with algae.

Managed to get a rosemary that will grown over the edge of the big bed so planted that. Now have two rosemarys in there but looks nice. Went to the Range got some winter arcenite little yellow spring flowers I just love reminds me of home where they grow like weeds but I cannot grown them here. Let's see how it goes with these.

Done some bulk cooking shepherds pie, harissa chicken  for wraps and then Teriyaki salmon from the spice box was ok but you could make it easily yourself so will not order again. Took a picture very colourful and tasty. Out of spices now but ordered my next lot.
Will work the money shuffle out tomorrow it was a nsd as it was on the joint account. Hottub in a bit as sore from gardening.

23 nsd in February which I'm happy with but did spend more than my £200 in fact £45 more but had that from last month. Pot filled up again and first round of premium bond draw tomorrow. That's the goal I'm saving the £12k for.

Nsd today new theme in journal is two greens for March will look nice I think. Need to so some food prep now and get the charging station painted. Dg washed it in sugar soap which made it go dark still looks ok though.

Lovely and sunny again here today. Lawn people came by charging my £10 to do the front so happy with that saves buying a lawn mover right now and my back hates to cut the grass. Once done tomorrow I can get my raised bed laid out. Happy days seeds in soon too.

Evening I'm loving this sunshine hope it stays,

Got the lawn done looks so much better still crap but I knew that £10 well spent. Also got the faulty tv unit collected which was great should get a refund soon. Still 8 weeks to wait for new one. DGs uncle came today painted most of the wood he owes Dg some money she lent him so paid more of that off. Did a good job too just missed one planter.

Dg had a melt down at Vodaphone and then as usual she feels her work isn't up to standard. I'm getting quite fed up with it I'm busy with my own work and I have to put up with that during the day. I know she misses her mum and is struggling with it but she will not seek any help. She speaks to her friend every day but does not say anything just listen to what they are going on about. Just sad no one is there for her to chat to other than me which is obviously doesn't want to that often. It's the same pattern she gets wound up about work sulks, cancels whatever exercise we're doing and then buys junk food or sweets. Emotional eating at its finest. At least no drinking that I could not cope with.

Sorry for the moan just miss my family so much it's my mums birthday tomorrow just knowing how long until I see them is hard. Also as I m not 100% sure I will see them in July.

No ned to apologise for moaning TG.  If you can't do it here, free of judgement then where?  You happen to have a few things all coming together that are taking time out of your day and using up valuable headspace - not seeing family, problems with furniture and DG's general unhappiness.  I hope you are able to help her find a balance soon.

Thank you feel a bit better today dg have taken two days sick leave just to mull around eat crap and chill which I think she very much needed. So here we go again for a while until it winds her up again. She really needs her self confidence boosting that would help with work for sure.

I've done the big paper I needed to do for work and I think it's ok which is a relief just hope it doesn't get delayed again as I forget how I've done it if it's months later I gets looked at.

Last bootcamp tonight (not doing Sundays) need to do something else or I will just slack again.

Love the weekend finally got all the tables sorted out they had lots of marks so had to sand them down lightly then treat them with a Danish soap based schedule so they now look fab. So glad I paid all that storage for it as it's just right for this house.

Went to Tesco oh the excitement actually two Tesco's so cash in some coins we had lying around all of £3.71. We are doing a cook along Saturday it's free with DGs Amex card. Managed to get all the pudding ingredients as I don't think Asda will have all of them.

Also done a small bit of gardening planted DGs small succulents from her aunts. DGs uncle painted the wood on the planters and unfortunately he mixed the Creocote with another clear varnish so now it's wet and not drying. Will need to set it tomorrow. Also moved my raised beds around for the 10th time because builder friend came around Friday and although he had a knee up in October he wants to start end of this month on the drive.  Cost £4.5k a lot cheaper than the other quote so very happy. That is why the raised bed has now had to move around to the other side so as not to get into the building work. It will wreck the lawn but it isn't that great anyway.

Cooking the Crispy Chilli Beef from Simply Cook tonight see what it is like. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

Great news on the builder TG.  Got in touch with mine, who said he was coming on Saturday, once he gets the results f his covid test which he took on Thursday.  Then Saturday morning he says he is still waiting for the results.  I thought they turned around quicker than that.  Anyway, waiting to see if I hear anything by Tuesday and if not, will start to look for a new one.  The weather is getting better and I should be starting on the work on the house about now.

That is good news and not good news Tahlullah if he has symptoms I think they have to get to to the lab or it could just be an excuse. Would be nice for you to get the work started.

We've been busy in the garden my back is aching. Got all the turf up and moved some of it to other areas which are not great. Looks a patchwork of lawn now but hopefully take. Raised beds looks nice side by side but less so with the plastic cover however I now have a mine green house which is cool. I had to tie it down so hopefully nice and secure. Will be easier once the netting goes on less flyaway. I will grow climbing beans and peas in 1 and salad stuff in the other. That is enough just need to find room for all the fruit I've ordered Lily's the courgettes.

Had my three peonies delivered they are bare root but two looked really broken. I phoned T&M easy to get through and they are sending three more. I really do not have space for them they are so short lived flowering so really just have room for 1. Wonder if I can grow them in pots but do not flower long.

Dg has been busy getting her mums seat sorted out. It is a kind of memorial good for her I think but not my taste with gnomes etc.

Back is aching cannot do any more now but feel like I've had a workout.  Planning on starting Couch to 5k tomorrow. Not on the flat but on the hills around here. Need to kick myself into great before golf starts.
