Got quite a bit done today DG sold two items on eBay and a stack of records today sales £240 not bad towards her btl.

Finished the drying room just waiting for he plug now but works great with the new rails dried our bedding super quick this afternoon. Hottub sadly didn't heat up in time to go in tonight but we did get out for a walk near where my old house used to be right by the creek.

Nsd again we did have pizza last night but I had £15 off my first UberEat order so only cost £15 for one pizza and expensive garlic bread. Glad we had the discount for sure.

Long busy week ahead but heyho. A bit depressing it says it will be a long long time before we open up I want to see my family in Summer. Anyway early night here much needed.

Another nsd but feel like I need to spend money soon lol.

Transferred £20k ready to buy Premium Bonds tomorrow as my emergency fund for if I have no job or the house needs major repairs. I've got credit cards and dg and I share all repairs to the house.

Got my number for the £12k and I've update the spreadsheet with my £1000 now have to be accountable for sure. Even got a signature now. I've not had any targets since paying off my mortgage.

Been so unproductive at work today really must do better tomorrow. Will go and watch the COVID press conference about time we did something about people coming into the country I mean why do they even need to come in.

Quick few pictures to show you the "new" drying room. Was previously a rubbish week electric shower and you certainly couldn't run at the same time as the other shower. The airer is heated and the extractor is a very quiet but powerful one. Eventually we will change the spa bath in the bathroom to a proper big shower as we have a hot tub we don't need a bath really.

Love your drying room.  All houses should be built with one.

Drying room was DGs idea I thought the shower would be great but it was so weak this is much better.

Busy day at work and I have a medical appointment tomorrow at our local big hospital which could take 4 hours so we shall see.

Managed to buy premium bonds this afternoon unfortunate Monzo only slow transactions of £10k so will need to buy the other half tomorrow. Annoying but will still make it before end of the month.

Dg has been having meltdowns over her IT system at work they are now giving her a new pc. She has a fancy new all on one one and wants to keep that but of course won't all fit on her desk as she has to have two screens. She's in a right mood and won't do bootcamp. Hopefully she will cheer up later do not need the drama. Can't wait for her IT issues to be sorted.

Feels like a long week already and it's only Tuesday still work is over.
Ps counted this as a nsd as it did not come out of my spend budget but was savings.

Not a nsd today had to go for a check up at the hospital so paid for parking and treated myself to a Costa and cake. £8.70 spent a treat so happy with that my first coffee out since 2/1.

Tried to buy the other £10k premium bonds but not quite 24 hours so need to wait a bit longer.  Also enrolled on the Martin Lewis academy on Open University not done a lot yet but will do a bit more tonight as no exercise.

Spoke to my mum last night she'd seen a programme about how this country is doing did not feel her with great confidence. Denmark is a lot smaller and they have vaccine supply issues and everything is shut there too. Miss her so much and the rest of my family speaking to them on video is not the same and I miss my "home" so to speak. Still my Scandi order was delivered so loads of nice sweeties which helps.

Finally able to get the last of the Premium Bonds ready for the March draw which is nice. DGs has got a new works pc to set up so she is in a really bad mood. I'm really fed up with her IT problems I do hope this now resolves them. She's so rude and horrible when she's stressed about IT and it's obviously not my fault. Saying that my work is upgrading my laptop tomorrow that should be interesting. Takes two hours the joys.

The joys of a new laptop.  I am very happy with my work Dell, but would always prefer a smaller machine.  I find big laptops annoying and far to heavy.

Great news about DG the new PC, even if it is causing pain and anguish until it is set up and working.  Look on the bright side, all of this angst will be over soon.

I do hope the pain will soon be over thanks for reminding me. My new laptop is really small but I have a second screen. It will be great on the trains if we ever get to travel. Also got my Cafe Nero credit back. Had a look on Monzo and you can see what you have spent with each retailer. Since 2018 I've spent over £400 with Nero just as well I do not work in London anymore. I've had two coffees out in 21 I've paid for myself. I'm going to have to keep that up.

iT issues seems to have been sorted so huge relief from me. Transferred over £500 to savings for February nsd today as well been to Lidl for a top up did get a few naughty treats but managed a run at lunchtime as I had an IT upgrade so missed Joe Wicks.

So glad it's the weekend looks like crap weather so lots to do indoor instead. Hopefully relax too with my sewing machine. Night night all enjoy the weekend it's finally here.
