Looks a bit low sided not sure why. Shower needed had to fire on last night that sunset was really nice though.
my last wisdom tooth is really playing up I'm so fed up with it but hopefully this will be the last time we have such hassle.Bit on spending on the house £89 for 24 pictures tiles for the main bedroom I hope it will look fab and bring some colour in. It's shots of us and from our travels should be lovely and personal.Tuesday the carpenter will be here putting on the window boards and the last trim. He's also putting l the curtains which I cannot wait for plus the bi fold doors to the hall cupboard. Then Weds we have the painter doing the final bits and taking his stuff with him, so I can sort my shed out. Annoyingly I've got a spare office chair now I brought my old one down from London. I wish it was in London so I can work from there rather than sell it but we shall see. That's it best get up and have that shower. Enjoy your bank holidaysSave £12k in 25 No 49

Window boards on and bifold door in looks fab and will be painted tomorrow. Just need to hang up a hook in small bedroom and all is done. Dg only has to go into the office once a week if she wants to so that's really good news. She's likely to still stay over one night and for mortgage purposes it makes sense to keep the flat for now. It's costing us £400 a month and I'll know after November what my work will look like.Hard being back at work so chill out needed this evening and speaking to my mumSave £12k in 25 No 49

Wow almost two weeks Mia been good though. Had DGs two friends staying last weekend lots of fun and really got to know them something I have not done before. One brought her dogs with her really nice but I'm not ready for dogs it would have to be cats.DGs credit records have now been updated bar Amex which is still showing a large balance outstanding. My IFA has said to go ahead and try again and miraculously the house we looked at is back for sale. Just meant to be I hope if she gets the DIP.Work is busy which is good but slight hiccup in a permanent role up for grabs in my team but there is 3 of us not permanent, one is very experience and running a current project so she's bound to get it an another is slightly newer than me but with a better line manager than my first one. Long story short my line manager didn't Tell me about the job I felt a bit hurt but actually I now know why and as I'm not sure if I really want to stay in this role although I love the team I'm not going to apply. There is potentially another role in a team I do some work with coming up but it's less senior but I could enjoy it more. Not really sure about anything and Applying for internal jobs is horrible so rather not do it. Glad all is resolved with my line manager but it trigger a lot of rubbish from my last CEO and front line role. Not something I really want to remember. Anyway today is Saturday loads of jobs to do around the house.Save £12k in 25 No 49

All a bit difficult here DGs work has been difficult due to the way her supervisor works and IT. She's scared if she says anything they'll insists she goes into the office. On top of that today she got turned down again for the DIP. Nothing we can see but need to get Experian report maybe they just don't lend to BTL seems a bit odd with her income and 25% deposit. Basically it's subprime or nothing as you should only do 3 in a year. She's really upset and feels like giving up. I Know it's also her grief for her mum she's scared she is got nothing and will have to work to 70 like her mum did but died without retiring. It is really hard but not sure what I can do or how to support her. On top of this her best friend who is like a sister tried to commit suicide so that didn't help either. My work is ok I'm just busy busy which is good but a bit behind. Also bad news a bit of my tooth broke off yesterday below my crown. Crown is fine and luckily I managed to get an app with the dentist within the hour this morning and they can repair rather than do new crown. Also they did not charge me emergency appointment just a normal check up as I was due anyway.Cut down some stems of pampas grass to dry might have done it too soon but we shall see. Also bought some logs off Facebook £20 and there is loads all stacked away nice and cheap very happy with that guy needed them cleared as he was getting a new drive. Cheaper than £14 a bag at BP and seasoned.Light stopped working but electrician will take a look and hottub which is also playing up will be check 1st week of Oct, it's all good apart from this bloody mortgage. We keep our finances separate and I only have a pension due to getting ex dh otherwise mine would have been small. Still not sure it would be enough. If I had not spent all the money on doing the house up I could have helped her.Enough moaning it's a lovely warm evening.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Clear score do free credit reports. Also when we applied for mortgage with N@tionwide we were turned down but helpful lady asked for it to be referred to another team to find out why and turned out our mortgage debts were reflected on both our scores- so looked like we had double the mortgage debt. Might be worth asking if they can give you a reason for decline.Mortgage start date Nov 2014 - £90,545 over 25 years
Re-mortgage Oct 2017 - 78,295 over 23 years
Re-mortgage Jan 2020 - 55,000 over 26 years @ 1.94%
Current Mortgage Outstanding Middle December 2020 - £47893.35 - a reduction of £42,652 in just over 6 years!2 -
Thanks for the comments Bargainhunter30 really appreciate it sounds like yours is further down the line this one didn't get pass the DIP stage the computer just said no. She is taking it really badly very angry and feel like life has no purpose nothing to look forward to in retirement. She is only 55 but is stressing out which I also think is linked to her mums death. Her mum worked right up til she died part time at 75 as she had no pension. I cannot get through to her to I'm just going to have to leave it and let her calm down on her own. She's lashing out but hard to be on the receiving end off. Wish there was someone she could talk to but there's none in her family and her close friend tried to commit sueciede so that isn't a good one. We're both going to pump tonight at 7 but she's not going as she did not sleep.Thank god it's Friday tomorrow busy at work so need a break lovely weather must get in the pool at lunch time. This was my sunset yesterday just lovely.Save £12k in 25 No 49
