I’ve sent a SAR to UKCPS with a picture of my V5C (with everything other than my name, address and reg number redacted) but had to post it as they don’t seem to have any email addresses to contact them via. I’ve emailed CST Law to say that I’m seeking debt advice and that I’ve sent the SAR. Should I start my own thread once I receive the court claim?5

I thought I'd update everyone on this thread on my case with UKCPS at Gateway House Manchester Piccadilly following a vehicle breakdown. I started my own thread relating to this case here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6236228/ukcps-drpl-following-vehicle-breakdown/p3
Essentially, following the excellent advice and guidance from the regulars and users of this forum, I contacted Lucy Powell who is the MP for Manchester city centre with details of my PCN and evidence that my vehicle had broken down (I also contacted Andy Burnham but he wasn't interested).
She responded immediately telling me she's on the case, that she's contacted the chief executive of UKCPS and to use her correspondence if enforcement continued to pursue me.
I just today received an email from Lucy's caseworker stating UKCPS have cancelled my PCN, and to contact her if I need to with any updates or for any more help.
Needless to say, my faith in politicians has been restored, and with the help of her and the people in this forum, I've fought back successfully. It just goes to show that this company are absolutely not untouchable.
So, thank you to everyone here, and to everyone else with an outstanding case with UKCPS, I highly recommend getting in touch with your MP. Don't let this predatory company bully and scare you into giving them your hard earned cash.5 -
That is well worth the people on this thread knowing!
Get written complaints and requests for assistance to Lucy Powell MP, everyone...she needs to be on your side against this entrapment zone and see it for what it is.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Looks like not all MP's are as helpful as Lucy Powell. Unfortunately She is not the MP of my constituency, strict new rules meant She could not intervene, so was redirected to My local MP, who redirected me to citizens advise. Like I did not know citizen's Advise existed.

You'll get better help here than at Citizens Advice - they don't know the specifics of the private parking sc@m like the regulars here do.Jenni x3
