Thank you Skinty
The tutor thanked me for supporting and helping the other students yesterday, they blatantly approached me and ask questions in front of her now. 5 weeks left and I am counting the weeks down.
I'm hoping to time my new website going live with qualifying so that can get added too.
10 months left of the day job, I'm sneaking in monthly days off 🤭
2nd home has some on leaps and bounds and I can finally see it coming together. I'll be planting the new fruits this week as I've got that section prepped. I'll also be putting a new path in and finish the herb section.
- I've learnt to slab and build fences 😀
I'm starting to gather everything to create the veg section and hopefully to begin that next month, with the new patio area and path.
It is very hard going juggling everything and I've tried to do 2nd home after both types of work but don't have the umph as it's all big tasks.
I'll be back properly soon 🤗

Thank you DIA, lovely to see you again SW and welcome OYU.
College has officially ended and I'm waiting "exam results". I received thanks and gifts from a few of the students, which reduced me to tears but also solidified my resolve to get the teaching qualification; funding will be from the backdated day job pay rise and I'll do it next year.
Although I had decided to lay off any more training for a while on the last drive home from college, that quickly changed the next morning and I'm currently learning lymphatic drainage; just need a few more models for practice and I'll be submitting my work.
- I needed that quality training and sense of normality after the shambles of college.
3rd home I've had to slow down on the last few months. I've totally rearranged the space and it feels more airy now. I'm still waiting for my website to be finished. For the remainder of this month I'm taking it easy as I catch my breath and from next month I'll be adding in an extra couple of half days to build up my client base.
On to 2nd home. The fruit sections are all planted, mulched and I only need to add stepping stones. I still have a few more herbs to plant and then wait for them to spread. The veg section has been started and I've cabbages growing, I've also started the chamomile lawn. All I need to do is finish the veg section, create a nature area, build a patio and finish the pathing.
I've made a start on sorting out the home garden and have to tackle the borrowed garden.
As for me, I'm mentally and physically wiped out. I'd expected college to end before the day job had it's manic months, sadly that didn't happen and I've been fighting burnout, exhaustion, panic attacks and anxiety attacks, and quite probably depression; same stuff going on in the day job I've put up with since starting.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

I was tired reading all that activity. Well done on your progress at all of your 'homes'
I'm sure your results will be excellent.

Thank you Skinty, DIA and OYU
I've received my accredited certificates from college but waiting on exam results for the qualification side of it; I'm not assuming I've passed and still on tender hooks.
I've asked my insurance company to add the new training to my policy so I can practice that / get it passed.
Debating what else to learn that compliments what I already offer.
Looks like I'll need to save ²/3 of the money to attain my teaching qualification as the negotiated backdated pay rise will barely cover a third of it.
The new mortgage fixed rate payment has totally got messed up and I'm still waiting for their complaint investigation to be concluded. I also asked they confirm exactly how much they're taking next month eg the old or new amount 😕
I'm currently sat at 2nd home, attempting to dig and do more of the veg patch. Another plot holder was supposed to be supplying pallet collars for me to use as raised beds, but hasn't since the original lot a few months ago; I can buy them but don't have spare money at the moment. Another was supposed to help shore a couple of sections to avoid the ground sliding, as was hubby, neither have; I'll be learning that next!
As I've got some time back I'm slowly working my way through diaries and consciously trying to keep my own going again 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Hope they get the mortgage payment sorted soon MF. Make sure they pay you some decent compensation too! Can you ask the other plot holder if they have any more available?
