Have been thinking of you 😿🌈 The pain of loss can feel unbearable 💔

I’m glad working on second home has helped. What are you growing this year? Well done on the decluttering.

Thank you DIA, DFW321 and Skinty

Almost finished the declutter,I'm behind schedule as it's usually December I do it, starts the new year fresh and ready to go however I just wasn't up to it.

I'm hoping to move my GH back to it's proper position, big storm moved it, finish digging the strawberry field/ plant strawbs, and plant herbs Monday; could be a bit much but I'll see how it all goes.

I'll be growing the usual toms, with cucamelon, aubergine, courgette, peas, beans, spuds and potentially attempting cabbage and butternut squash; if my seedlings were not eaten last night!

We've adopted two furbabies and collected them yesterday, hence the monster declutter as these are very active compared to our couch potato (RIP).
    - My bigger seedlings never stood a chance and the remains are in the shower cubicle, much to (AKA) One Brain Cell's frustration as he tried everything to get into them, aside from trying to slide the door 🤭

They're about 2.5 years old and an unrelated pair. I had a sudden urge to check a sanctuary I've followed for quite a while and they'd just been added a few mins before. It's taken a few weeks from enquiry to collecting and I didn't to jinx the process by saying.

OBC is a gentle, soft and a shy giant, but loves to play and have fuss.
    - I've always wanted one with his colouring.

(AKA) Queen Biscuit Maker (AKA) The Brains of the Operation (AKA) The Ring Leader is the size of a 4 month old kitten. Confident and quickly found her feet, also loves playing and fuss.
    - Absolutely stunning to look at and has the most enchanting eyes.

Time will heal the heart and it feels like a home again.

Oh and to carry on with it's an expensive year, my car was in the garage as my exhaust suddenly popped on the way to college as well as needing tyres 😧

Thank you Jwil, Skinty and DIA

So sorry for being absent I've got next to no free time to be online at the moment.

I've got nearly 3 more months of college 😧 but definitely will not be doing any further training with them.

I'm being cautious with bookings at 3rd home until my course ends to avoid severe burnout; day job is manic as short staffed.

2nd home is quickly coming together due to having decent weather.
    - strawberry farm is up and running.
    - herb garden is nearly finished.
    - I've a raspberry farm, transplanted loads from home into it.
    - Made a rhubarb strip.
    - I've nearly finished another fruit section as I picked some unusual ones up a couple of weeks ago.
    - sowed seeds in the GH, the salvaged ones I lost most of.
    - built a big compost area.

Just leaves me with the veg patch to get set up, build a new patio, do a nature garden and run a path round the whole thing 🤗

Furbabies are a a bundle of joy. They follow us everywhere, eat loads but burn it off playing, sleep with us overnight and tend to get us up at 6. We all seem very happy and I'm sure they'll settle down more over time when they realise this is their final home.

I’m sure the next 3 months will fly past and then you will not have to step into the horrible place again. Good idea to take regular bookings to keep clients but wait until your course finishes before ramping up with new clients. What with gardening and full time job as well you could easily wear yourself out. By the way when does the job end?
