Hope the fix goes through ok. Sorry to hear about your roof, is it covered by home insurance? It sounds like you should easily pass the college exams. I suppose it’s worth it for the certificate. Can you take your own products in for your personal use? Surely they can’t refuse if their products cause a skin reaction.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I'll be taking some travel size items in this week, even if they're to use straight after! Assuming I pass, I'd gain two qualifications and well on my way to future proofing my business. The others are accredited certificates.
Not viable to put it via the insurance as I'm getting other bits fixed at the same time as they'll be up ladders.
It was horrible seeing savings reduce, even though they were for emergencies and back up for when I'm FT in my business, however they've now increased as hubster gave me half of all the costs. I've quickly moved the majority of it back to savings and the roofer money is earmarked.
I've been slowly doing weeding at 2nd home as I need to get the herb and strawberry sections up and running. Hopefully it will be dry enough tomorrow to get one of them finished off and then can start the fruit section and alternate between that and herb or strawberry (whichever is to be finished).
The GH perspex should arrive this week. I'm replacing the missing (storm) ones and a few that were broken before I took 2nd home on. When it's all watertight again I can get that set up for the season.
Sowed some seeds and in a few weeks I'll get another lot on the go, when I've decided what's next to get started.

I've had a few sessions at 2nd home and the strawberry patch is beginning to clear of weeds. Took the last bramble out and so many dock plants.
Perspex and fittings have arrived so I can weather proof the GH, after moving it back into place.
Roofer arrived today, unfortunately his ladders were just a tiny bit too short to reach and scaffolding is due to go up tomorrow with the work scheduled for Sunday. It's increased the cost by £450.
Broker is making a start on requesting the product switch fix. I've still opted for a 5 year fix as I plan to be MF by the end. Currently owe £44,816.
College was a bit better this week. I had a good look at all the products the tutor gave us products for oily skin the week before, which is why our faces dried out even more. I selected the right ones. They all have a fake chemical smell to them. I did give P samples from my range 🤭
There's a lot of things I don't like about this course, materials are dreadful, class training is lacking; the ones next to me asked what order, how to use things, others quietly approach me to ask questions, P is listening and paying close attention when I practice on her. The equipment and bedding is split, ripped, stained.
We also have to provide some key items ourselves, not previously mentioned prior to or after enrolling.
I've decided against any further courses with them.
I'm slowly catching up on diaries and apologise for the lack of comments. I had to free up time and brain space.

NIce to hear from yougosh MF it sounds like it would be a better course if you were running it!SHocking that the equipment is so old and stained!!!! Definetly the right decision not to do any further courses with them.In seriuosness have you thought about teaching any of these tecnhiques? No idea if it is a vaible option when you are a bit more experienced, but worth looking into, youve seen what not to do!!!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

I agree with flowers. Course sounds awful. Hope your broker gets you a good deal. Interest rates came down today so hopefully you’ll see the benefit of that.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Shocking about the course.
Sounds great on your mortgage plans. No luck on sibling and inheritance I presume.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'd only need to get my teaching certificate, write the ciurse and upgrade my insurance to offer training as I've over 6m experience with facials and IHM. It is something I've thought about due to the standards I've seen but something I can revisit in the future.
It's over 6% for the new interest with my lender.
No inheritance news as I would have updated.
Roof etc has been repaired today, waiting on a quote for something else.
I picked up a couple of fruit trees from T. Yesterday I dug over the area they're going and hopefully can plant them tomorrow. Then I'll get back to the herb section 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thank you Skinty
The course is actually 6 months 😕 I'm not changing my opinion of the quality or tutoring and just need to get it over and done with.
For financial reasons I'm still in the day job.
3rd home is going well, I've been reorganising retail layout and it's so close to being perfect.
2nd home I've made great headway with due to the weather and have nearly got the full layout planned in my head of how it will look.
Edit to add new mortgage fix arranged and I've already worked out how much to O/P to clear it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
