Amazing to see how the treatments you had for your wedding have led you to this point  :)

    I know DIA

Just goes to show we never do know how life pans out or what direction it will take!

Beastie suggested I stop doing my previous weakness treatment due to the physical impact on me, said I should develop the areas I clearly enjoy and suggested a few things. Without pausing for breath said she's got someone in mind to do the former, with me renting it to them, and wants the services she's suggested. Said about me buying into the place in the future or starting my own place 🤭

I've been window shopping to see where I'm able to save costs on furniture. I also drew a plan with the proposed items. A slight tweak later I'm very happy and saved even more money just by moving things around, negating the need for some items!

I found a similar company to 1K3A but prettier versions of what I'm after. I've picked out everything and more to create an inviting space in 3rd home.
    - display unit for retail and spares, doubles up as a privacy screen £74
    - console table for wax products / equipment, space to add products / equipment when doing facials / massage £56
    - coat stand £11
    - coffee / mani table, doubles up as office desk £28
    = Total £169
== Can get some via their 3bay shop and I'd earn N3ctar points!

    1K3A
    - clock £2
    - bins £5.50
    = £7.50 + £5 P&P

    3bay
    - Poster A3 / price list A4 frames £37

    Key items:
    - massage table with an under shelf £323 OR
    - massage table, clear space underneath £158*
    - face steamer £96* OR
    - face steamer with magnifying glass £120

*Tempted by these as I've under storage already. Just need to check the fixed heights of the tables and see if they're suitable.

Prices are rounded up, with VAT included where applicable, which is why it looks a bit different to yesterday's prices, but it looks like I can do it all for £500 😯

Due to having things doubling up, I'm able to trim back overall and have loads of space / air in the 3rd home, while being fully functional. I might see about getting a massage chair for IHM, need to cross-ref size against my plan; this would add under £100.

Big difference between price of massage tables and face steamers.  Good savings to be had if you don’t need the storage.

Sounds like it’s all coming together 😊

    Thank you Skinty

The layout and furniture provides sufficient storage and looks classy too.

Well, I've started buying my furniture / equipment:
    3bay:
Picture Frames, various sizes £39.64 Inc discount ✓

Nicer than 1K3A shop, all initially discounted:
    2x side tables £33.99 ✓
    Shelf £39.68 ✓
Console, with elec points £55.99 ✓
    Cube shelving £73.92 ✓
    Desk with riser £37.79 ✓
    After further discount, total £241.37

    Specialist shop 1:
    Therapist Chair £149 ✓
    Facial Steamer £79 ✓
    Couch Steps £69 ✓
    Foot Files £8.94 ✓
    + VAT, less 20% discount = £295.85

    Specialist shop 2:
    Massage Table £314.95
    Less 50% sale, + VAT and delivery = £235.77

Some items were not on my list, but I freed up space with the tweak and I'm still doubling up items eg desk is my admin / reception area, chair for admin / extra client seat / nails, frames are for pricelists and formal advertising.

Steps were not on my list but as it's a fixed height table the clients will be able to access it easier.

In other news I passed my pedi course 😊 saving introducing it until I move 🤭
    - just leaves hot wax, full massage and anatomy to finish. I'll be doing a C awareness course at some point (free).

I was at 2nd home all morning. Everything is potted into the greenhouse. I've cleared more of the plot and will keep tackling it each week, planting out as I go along.

I'll do some garden weeding this week and have a few flowers to plant out. Need to make space in the flat for deliveries and colour my hair.

Sat with my feet up and sipping fizzy pineapple topped with lemonade.

  • I picked up a fantastic massage table- top of the range one- from Fb MP. Was £50 but we haggled down to £30! I use it for reiki and the odd back massage when DP has been working too hard at the computer so I didn't want to spend very much, but it is actually a really good sturdy one. Have you thought about scouring for second hand items that are gently used on FB?

the gardening sounds so relaxing and rewarding. I started growing my own this year but have had to put it all on hold as we are moving. I think I will try to sell /gift on the squash's and pepper's I have growing as they are doing really well, seems a shame to throw them away.

    Thank you SH and DFW321

Keep selling what you can, all those pennies help with the move.

My own place will be much better. Picked out the flooring today, very pale grey / white herringbone vinyl, great contrast against the walnut furniture, and compliments the white walls etc.

My 'tog mate is doing the official photos to really showcase my 3rd home, I just have to pay for prints as I'll be hanging them on the walls / using them as marketing images.

I did look for a previously loved massage table, most were portable or the pro ones wouldn't fit in my car and were more expensive than what I've paid.

Items have started to arrive, I'll tick them off my original posted list as they do.
    - just need to order a bigger diary, voile curtains, mop and bucket, disabled surround to get up / sit down unless LL installs something in the 'facilities'.

I need to sort out and pack everything I'm moving from the flat to 3rd home, ensuring I leave sufficient bags / boxes for packing / moving from the current space.

Must also update my pricelist / posters, laminate new certificate. Look into setting a website up, and an online booking system. Find a body scrub course. Do some of / finish the A&P course. Do more case studies for hot wax course as I want that finished!

Gave my legs a good exfoliating session this evening while watching TV 🤭

Off to bed as I want to read some more of my book.

I know DIA, hopefully there'll be no more to juggle!

I'm pleased with my table choice and hopefully I'll get new keys soon to take delivery of it.

I've ticked off everything that has arrived, just leaves frames and 1K3A goodies.
As I know what flooring is being fitted I can get a mop and bucket.
When I collect keys I can measure and order voile. I'll drop as much as I can fit in my car at the same time.

I'm looking for a luxury mani course and a body scrub course. Also considering meditation training as 3rd home is big enough for a small class or one-2-one sessions. Still got hot stones and Thai herbal compress on my to do list.
    - I've done some of my A&P this evening, only 10 modules left 😯
    - practicing FBM this week 😀 but expect to be taking my test after moving.

I've been to 2nd home to water and met a new 'neighbour' and now have my feet up 🤭
