£5 in the bank!!!
That would panic me. I know you have all your savings pots on top though.
The extra 5 hours may come in time. For now it's helping you have energy to live and study. If you do get the equivalent of p1p that will help too.

And some pennies SH 🤭
Aside from the bank fee, all bills have gone out. I do miss getting paid month end but will adjust, especially when I get the 13th month and it's all mine 😃 I also won't be on my actual PT salary this year due to the mix of FT/PT wage and then the back pay, it will probably be February when the reality of my new wage hits due to tax rebates too.
- I'm squirreling money into my study account and pull some of that over at the end of each month ready for bills, then a little bit each week for food shopping, leaving loads towards study costs. I'm definitely not touching my normal savings!
I don't need to buy any food before payday. I've stewing steak and pork chops in the fridge and goodness knows how many spuds, plus my cupboards, pantry, fridge and freezer are full.
I need a routine of work days, study days, fun days and rest days, but once my revision notes are condensed things should get a bit easier.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Glad you've got it all sorted.

Thanks SH
I'm hoping to squeeze in some views while in the village, have been tempted but knew I couldn't add the bit extra walk.
Feels like I'm on a journey of self-discovery, re-learning what I can do, what needs adaptions to do and what I can't do regardless of alterations. Still having fun though!
TomBo is getting a little edgy about money, asked how much it costs to run the dehumidifier and said I'm spending too much when I've done the shopping. He hasn't grasped I'm still budgeting only on my salary. I've also not got it through to him that the surveys I do are actually producing shopping vouchers, which frees up cash for fun things, even though they're all pinned to the freezer!
- I think he's picking up snippets of CoL panic news but not realising our lifestyle can ride it out.
I've asked if he wants me to go back to FT, which was a definite no.
- I'm actually looking at roles paying nearly £40k and will admit they're beginning to tempt me as they're more my experience level, then I try to stand up and realise I'd never physically cope.
He's using his A/L and I asked if he wanted us to visit MIL, that was declined for this weekend. We will go up soon.
I'll get most of the Christmas gifts sorted out from this pay and use some of the vouchers.
Got up at 2am as I'd been awake for a few hours at that point. Probably should have sat at my desk and began condensing notes but I try not to make too much noise when I don't sleep; first time in a while. I'll go to be for an hour or so when TomBo gets up as I'm starting to feel sleepy.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks Skinty, I think it is as he doesn't want to hear about how much is saved etc.
I dozed for a few hours and think I know where I went wrong last night.
Couldn't get my laptop to access the site for the seminar today, which was frustrating. Got a different one tomorrow using a normal conference package.
I've been cross-referencing my revision notes and I'm on my 3rd chapter, the notes are naturally condensing. I'll have it all finished by the weekend and feel confident about learning it; I was feeling slightly overwhelmed with how much I thought I needed to learn.
What I've learned from this module, ready for the resit, is watch the classes, write up the tutor notes, then read the supporting chapter in the book and expand a little bit.
- Trying not to kick myself for 'wasting' all these weeks I've had my head in this book writing so much.
Had pork chop, boiled spuds and greens for tea, got my feet up watching TV.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks DIA and SH
I'm getting there with the studies and should be revising from the weekend 😊 still got plenty of time to learn, read through previous exam papers, suggested answers and have a go at a few.
Didn't have a good day today. B1 was up to the usual compliment but saying I'm doing things wrong, the same things I've been told I'm doing right. I don't know if I'm coming or going 🙄Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
