Thank you SkintyThe juice is my very indulgent treat when on special offer only as it's a brand. I guess it could be my weekend treat, sip from a fancy wine glass with a nice meal.
I'll admit I've just started having a bit of meat on a Saturday with loads of veg. Can't beat a good beef stew in winter and for warming from the inside! I'm only buying from my local butcher as it's better value / quality / taste and I do quite well on a £20 budget, including a few bits for TomBo in the week.
- means I'm helping to keep my local butcher open.
Weekdays I'm not having meat, plenty of homegrown veggies to get through, with lentils etc.
Paid the utilities yesterday. We used less this month, but the bill has gone up by nearly £10. I've paid in full, rounded up. When things settle again I'll have a refund, for now it's staying as a rainy day credit.
Still warm enough not to have the heating on, but I'm watching TomBo in case he starts to look cold and puts loads of layers on.
Today I need to fill in the pension forms, do some more gap filling on my study notes, do my legs, have a shower, do surveys and print some survey vouchers off; I've got over £90 in points.
- I can only order up to £20 a day, I want to get my balance converted and then each time I earn enough cash them in.
For now I'm resting with my feet up, about to have a mocha and know I've pushed too hard with my studies; I'm extending my deadline to have my notes revision ready by Friday, which gives me just under 12 weeks to learn them.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

You arent arrogant at all. So proud of you, I am so cross you have to work with horrid boss. Working part time sounds so much better. I hope the knee is better.
Omg i put this up yesterday i think and it didnt post either. The same thing happened for Skinty's thread but it was saved somehow. I am glad you had some time off.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
Thanks SH, Atrixa and SW
Nearly 6 years of this new lifestyle, it's ingrained and hard to change, built on a solid foundation of determination.
I'm happy to be working PT. It's allowed a new lease of life and one I wasn't totally convinced I'd have, even if it's not full on I've the time to spread myself into other things.
It's W3lch's juice, got a little bit left for breakfast in the morning.
Did more of my study gaps, still feels like I've got loads to do and I should make a better dent on it tomorrow. Managed my shower but didn't do my legs. I was very tired today and I ended up dozing on my chair after tea.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Just catching up. Nice to see you enjoying other aspects of life.

I'm enjoying being PT so much! I know it's very early days but I don't want to return to FT, which reduces career options but I'd rather take happiness and manageable health.
I've only got two gaps left to fill in on my notes and then the fun of cross-referencing against syllabus and classes begins, which will see my notes shrink, then I'll see if they need condensing further.
I have a plan to clear the mortgage by the end of this decade. I've sat working out O/Ps and the approximate O/S balance each year, it's definitely doable 🤭
My wages will be like a yo yo the next few months due to my hours changing and having the dregs of FT money, the backpay, paying and getting refunded tax. Each payday I'll see what's over and above my actual PT wages, splitting the surplus between O/P, savings and studies.
I've got my feet up and we're having spicy tomato sauce and pasta for tea.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Skinty
I'm still keeping an eye on the vacancies, just in case a temporary extra day pops up. If it wasn't dark / cold and I still had my notes to write up I doubt I'd even be thinking of it. I feel I've a little too much free time at the moment and I'm a bit young to semi-retire, but that will probably pass in a few more weeks when I'm pulling my hair out over revision 🤭
I did glance over my next book and could probably do with starting to write that up so I'm ready to compare that to the syllabus and condense it after I've sat this exam.
- I may do a little as a break from revising this topic otherwise it will be a mad rush to quickly do it and allow enough time to learn it.
I've cashed in another £20 survey points, will do the rest over the remainder of this week, while building up more.
I also expect my T Christmas vouchers to arrive any week now; £39 are due.
I'll do my pension forms tomorrow and ask TomBo to post them when he collects my meds.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
