Thanks SW, I'm not looking forward to doing 5 days again, I do struggle with FT but have to keep doing it for a few more years.

I've put enough base coats on the door and frame and decided just to put a gloss coat on next time.
I did manage to get up the next step on the ladder today. I'm not comfortable with it but have to do it again if I'm going to correct TomBo's painting.

Waiting on some plant bags so I can get more spuds in, no sign of my tomato seedlings and I'm hoping to get outside this weekend just to look, do a bit of weeding and tidying.

TomBo baked bread and prepared pizza dough for tomorrow!

Had haggis and mashed spuds with carrots for tea.

Spent a few hours in the garden, weeding, planting more spuds, watering and checking everything. Loads of radishes, cabages and cauliflower have sprouted. I must remember where I put the netting and get ready to put that up.

It's gone quite cold this afternoon, so I may just rest up for a while.

On the financial side of things, March I saved:
    £365.83 into savings.
    £106.72 into car pot.
    £105 into the SIPP.
    £15 into S&S ISA.
    £25 into PBs.

Made over £50 in survey points.
    CC is £0 balance.
    Paid £100 mortgage O/P, owe £63,700ish.

CT starts up again next month so I'm planning £230 into savings during April.

    Having homemade pizza tonight.

Thank you Skinty, I'm hoping this year I can learn even more and next year should be into full swing with it.

Yesterday I ordered various bean and pea seeds as I need to sow them end of April / start of May, spent £6.25 incl P&P.

Just done the shopping. Have enough cat food for over a month. Picked up chicken, beef, fish and different pies this time for us, plus the usual fresh and cupboard items. Also got wine and Easter eggs. Just need fruit, veg and milk each week, £26 left which is plenty.
    - I budget £100pm for us and the cat, always keeping my freezer and cupboards full.

Picked up 2 sports bras, as I'm tired of the wired ones poking through, £14 and that was from my April pocket money.

The pizza was delicious! Later in the year the sauce mix will be made with things from the garden.

I might pop into the garden in a bit, or maybe just relax, haven't decided.

My tomato seeds have started to sprout, hopefully the rest will follow.
It's been too windy today for me to go outside, but should calm down over the next few days. TomBo has cleared some space for the rest of my potatoes to go in, the bags arrived today.
I'm contemplating pulling the useful growing information out the gardening magazines, then recycling the rest of it.

I can start moving money to savings on Thursday.

    Had roast beef for tea.

Good idea to save useful clippings from your magazines. Do you have a lovely gardening scrapbook you can put them in ? 🙂

Possibly, but if not then I've normal card folders for now and can get another wallet type one next payday.

Took myself away from my desk for a shower, body can't take much more sitting down. Spotted we are getting a payrise this year which will amount to about £30pm extra, tempted to sink it straight into the mortgage as I want that cleared but have months to decide.

Popping out to see SIL later as it's cake day, just have to wrap her gifts when I finish. Will drop the Easter eggs off at the same time.

TomBo went out this morning to gather up / borrow things for our garden. The flat has been very quiet without him chatting away, although my snoring cat has tried to make up for it.

    We are having steak tonight.

You are doing really well with budgeting. Glad the seed sowing is paying off too. Yay to a payrise!

Thanks SH, they certainly kept it quiet and it's a relief to know I'm getting something, even if it doesn't account for everything I've done, will be doing, for months.

Gifts are wrapped and TomBo should be home soon.

It's 4 tomato seeds which have sprouted so far, hopefully the others won't be too far behind as I've big plans for them this year.

It looks like the sky is going to open, but I don't need to worry about watering everything outside. Winds have finally calmed down.
