Not sure why you think it is amusing.

Access to bank accounts or any form of credit is going to be extremely difficult.

It is amusing and sad at the same time.
Because how I could prevent situation like that?
How I could knew that the money I receive is coming from a scam?
Its not like I receive money from some stranger, it was my brother that I have trusted whole life. He made mistake for sure, and that he involved me into this is really F** up, but if they really want to make me suffer because of that and including it was only £197 then ye amusing and sad.
  • Ask where it’s coming from?

£197 is an odd number as well

Well it was dodgy money your brother sent you, why do you think he was keen to move it out his account to you?

He couldn't withdraw money from the ATM? My !!!!!. Instead he involves you in his scam.

Just read your first post again....why could your brother not get the money paid into his account?
£197 today - you get away with it so the next one might be £1970?
You are suffering because money that was not yours was paid into your account.

Been receiving money from my father, brother and friends for years, and never had problems so whats wrong with receiving money thats not "mine" ?
In this specific situation I got backlashed for trusting my brother, I had 0 reasons to suspect him that he intentionally sending me scammed money.

Also why the bank is not investigating his account? They don't see where I got the money from? If there should be any consequences then he should receive them and not me.

And how do you know your brothers account isn't under investigation? I would imagine it is but there will be no money in it. The money trail leads to you.

More fool you for believing his story about not being able to withdraw cash.

Because his account is working ?
Ye I am such a fool that I trust my brother. Maybe if I was you I wouldn't have to go through this.
  • It probably is under investigation.

And the consequences, unfortunately, are for all those involved in the chain including you.
