...And if you don't, what would you change it to?
(And if you are brave enough, tell us what it is!).
I am Belinda, and I love it!

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I am Donna never bothered me.
As a child I wished I was Sharon but grew of that one:p

How funny to learn your real name; in my head, you're literally 'seven-day-weekend' and I think I had you down as a Janet. Absolutely no reason, I just did!!!
I really like my first name. It's very uncommon - so I don't know anyone else with my name at all. It's a Biblical name, and quite pretty, and everyone would have heard of it, but I never meet anyone else with the name, or who knows anyone else with my name. I'm also grateful that it's not weird, so it doesn't make me stand out. It's just uncommon. Would post it on here, but because it's so uncommon and friends and family know I use these forums, I'd prefer anonymity!' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
No, I dislike my first and middle names. I've now dropped my middle name entirely and changed the last letter of my first name from an e to an a, which oddly enough makes it liveable with.
I would have liked to be a Sarah or Elizabeth (Liz)Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
My name is an unusual name here in the UK although there are quite a few of us but it's more common abroad.
My middle name is a typical one (I guess) of my generation.0 -
I like my first name, it's also my mother's first name and the pet name my grandmother's brothers used for her. It reflects our Russian jewish heritage. It's quite uncommon, I've only met 2-3 others in my lifetime.
I hate my middle name with a passion, I don't know what my mother was thinking!
Belinda is the name of my most favorite fish.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Hmm...
Martha? Esther?
Don’t feel you need to answer I just can’t resist a guess!
My name is really boring, there were about 12 of us in my year at school. It’s fine though, not ugly or with any negative connotations, I am ambivalent about it.0 -
I am not a fan of my name. I feel it is a name more suited to a person of my Mothers generation (and so is my siblings)
There were no other girls at school with my name.
I don't know what I would change it to, I have never really thought about it but I would if I could
I know a lady who changed her name. She had a very common name and hated it - and changed her name to something that sounds like she could be one of the X-Men. I absolutely love it and wish I had her courageWith love, POSR0 -
I hate my first name although everyone who knows about it likes it.
It doesn't suit me. It never suited me.
I don't use it. Ever.0 -
I didn't like it as a child - it wasn't common in the 70s (in England anyway - would have been fairly unremarkable in Scotland) and many people couldn't spell it. I got used to it in the late 80s when a few more famous ones appeared and people know how to spell and say it.I need to think of something new here...0
