My name is really common, but as stated earlier it could well have been derived from Mars, the bringer of war, however my wife's name is really unusual. It's Welsh and its Ceinwen. We shorten it to Cein normally.Pronounced as Kine

I had never heard of this name before i met her, and she gets called Kylie, Kie etc.

The best one though was a couple we met on holiday and the lady asked me "Is your wife's name really penguin?" That gave us a chuckle
