That tariff has probably been pulled by now.
The only M&S I can see is the 31st Dec 14 price fix.

  • I am with EON, on a fixed rate, but I owe them over £700  :eek:
I pay £65 a month DD for dual fuel, I think it is up for renewal in the new year.
Am I right in thinking I can't switch without paying the debt first?
  • I've just used the cheap energy club switching service and it is fab. I found having separate gas and electricity was cheaper. I've changed my gas supplier to npower and need to change my electricity supplier to eon. However I can't find how to access the tariffs anymore, my account just shows a switch in progress for the gas and option to access the tariffs anymore. Can anybody help me access the electricity tariffs it found for me please?

    Hi bizzylizzy,

I think the first thing to do is to contact us and get the account billed up to accurate reads, so you know the correct balance.

We can then re-calculate the payments to cover your ongoing usage and clear the balance.

We can also have a look at the tariffs now for you.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Helena:)

Just thought I'd add my experience of a recent switch. We'd been with Scottish Power for years (all top deals) and very pleased with how the account was managed.

Unfortunately this time round they had nothing competitive so we used the MSE Energy Club to switch to EDF (March 2015 deal). Switch went fine and DD amounts were same as Scottish Power. Just entered my readings online and bill was made up in a couple of days. Fingers crossed it continues that way.

If this switch goes wrong I am going to have to put up with paying through the nose.
Last 3 switches have left me in so much debt through mistaken DD, untaken DD and taken on wrong day DD.
It scares me attempting again as have just got straight again.
How the Elderly and non computer savvy are supposed to do this is beyond belief. :(
