Fruitcake said:There are a couple of threads about the progress of the bill/PAS. Some info about parts of it have been released, but not everything has been decided yet, but sadly it is not due to come into force until next year, and I doubt any of it can be applied retrospectively.
I suspect many scammers are frantically trying to hide white fivers under the mattress and look for legitimate ways of not paying tax on their legitimately obtained monies.

Local paper is interested in running an article, possibly next week. They will print what they like, but l'll try & get in that VCS can't sue on Excel's behalf. Their attempts at double recovery are effectively extortion. The poor signage is designed to catch people out, especially transient residents. Anything else to try & get in?4

The new framework should be mentioned so the journalist can finish on a positive note, that regulation of this cowboy industry is coming:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Many local articles get in the national press and if your article is printed, you should send it to all the national newspapers... as a "public be aware"
Also impress that these are not fines, just invoices
There is no doubt that the SRS group are in self destruct mode
When the new code comes in, they will be walking on a thin tight rope4 -

Yep! PLease try, try, try to get them to use the word INVOICE3

The problem SRS companies and others have is they cannot decide on one single name , unlike Indigo etc , so confuse themselves and everyone else , ( like Britannia do too ) they also seem to believe that they are in the litigation business as a primary role , instead of the supervised parking business ( as do many other Parking companies )
When SRS companies were in the BPA AOS and used the London council's Popla service , they and many other Parking companies would lose regularly , on a daily basis , due to incompetence , poor signage , faulty landowner authority , not following the landowner contract , not using POFA , not complying with POFA , entrapment , doctoring times and photographs , grace period failures , the list goes on (their myparkingcharge windscreen ticket scam is yet another wheeze )
This would be why they jumped ship to the IPC over 5 years ago !!
It was their attempted scamming of friends and family that got me involved on this topic some 8 years ago !! We won every one too
Excel lost the Peel centre in Stockport , Ashton retail park and many other sites too , probably due to complaints etc , some sites were infamous and yet these days rarely come up !!
A couple of months ago JB came on here crowing about appealing a case involving the extra charges due to be heard in March , to aim to settle the double recovery argument , yet failed to update his own thread with the outcome !! It's now April 15 !!! The silence is deafening !!
They really are all the architects of their own downfall due to their greediness and lack of a moral compass , council's would be too if the system had no regulations and independent adjudicators in place10 -
A very nice summary Redx ...... SRS might wake up to the fact that once a new code comes into force with an independent appeals service, the IAS will become a DODO and he will have nowhere to run to
The IPC might also wake up to the fact that if they let SRS run riot, they could cease as an ATA. The same applies to the BPA ?
It is going to be fun watching the destruction of the scam industry4 -
An excellent post RedX.
I wondered what had happened in that appeal. The HHJ that granted the right to appeal was the same judge that refused the right to appeal in the Ambler case. That was the case that Lamilad won at Skipton.
Excel/VCS were kicked off the car park where the transgression in the Ambler case took place. It had been a hot spot.
You are absolutely correct in that they are the architects of their own fate by their greediness and total lack of moral compass.
Perhaps JB has jumped ship before it sinks.
