"A combined total current assets value of £16.4m"
Interesting!!
Thanks for all your suggestion guys! Will keep you posted.
What seems like big bucks and assets can quickly turn into re-mortages and loans increasing the liability.
Many companies have gone down this route hence the closures we are seeing now
Right now with the pending clampdown on the parking industry, banks etc will be wary to loan money on what will be a decreasing income. Venture capital would cost a fortune
It is "flip a coin" time to see which companies collapse4 -
Phew! Just finished interview with paper guy. Got in a) Invoice not fine b) SRS multimillion owner of Excel & VCS c) Clamping king d) double recovery e) separate legal entities, cannot sue on behalf of each other f) that MP & Trading Standards had been informed g) new government regulation of this cowboy industry planned f) amazing support by your good selves at money saving expert. Let's see what gets printed!! Fingers crossed!! I tried to stay unemotional...am hoping he doesn't just print my furious outbursts at what crooks these people are lol.
Apparently Excel had accused this journo of 'picking on them', as he's done several stories. He explained that people come to him, as the problem is ongoing & they know he knows about it! He also asked why they have separate companies suing to the ones in charge of car parks. I hazarded a guess that it must be due to liabilities, but that I didn't know.7 -

HAHA ... like he complained about a judge saying "she was not fit for purpose"
Wonder what Reggie and Ronnie would have thought of him ??4 -
He also asked why they have separate companies suing to the ones in charge of car parks. The reason why self-styled 'PCN Debt Recovery' firms and robo-claim solicitors have attached themselves like parasites to this industry is because it is unregulated, lucrative and involves millions of consumers per year (and millions of pounds are artificially added on top of parking charges, to share the spoils with the third parties).
Parking firms pay nothing to the third party. Fake sums are just layered on, to feed the parasites who drive the cases to court.
It is the added £60 or £70 a pop, multiplied millions of times, that attracts the parasites. Hopefully the new statutory framework will sort it out.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If it is operated like the Traffic Penalty Tribunal then the parasite legals have something to fear
I have in the past won two cases with the TPT which given the idiotic people at POPLA and the IAS would have been rejected. THE PARASITE LEGALS ARE SCARED STIFF OF THIS ?
And, very sad to say that the County Court system needs a complete overhaul as there are judges who fail to see a scam in front of their faces
This is an Excel thread and the writing is on the wall, If SRS does not get rid of the mega chip on his shoulder, there will be no DVLA access and he can clamp his own car as the scam money will vanish

Most in the county court are ex solicitors whose function was house buying, wills, advice and have never seen a scam in their life.
I admit that I have grave concerns about Robert Jenrick MP who was recently involved with what is called "cash for favours" ....... he is in control of the new code of practice .... GRAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THIS MAN

Many of the judges that hear the parking claims are Deputy District judges who sit for so many days a year. Some are Barristers who specialise in a particular aspect of law in their main role such as family law etc. All understand Law of Contract but some are not that clued up with other aspects of law that affect parking.
Excel/VCS always bleat that they are bullied or that the judge was biased when they lose They are very poor losers.
When in comes down to bias they seem to forget that their appeals service (IAS) is totally biased in their favour. The only way that a motorist can get any kind of fairness is though the courts. It is a lottery but I would much sooner have a judgmental decision that a criteria based decision.
The fake add ons go against the principle of a small claim and the Pre Action Protocol. If you were suing a builder for shoddy work you would not add on amounts equvalent to 60% of the original claim for debt collection. The debt collection element is just another scam as they only pay debt collectors if they collect.
The debt collectors are unregulated which should not happen in this day and age. They are allowed to send out these threatening letters to vulnerable people which if regulated would not be allowed. There are special rules for the treatment of vulnerable people if a firm is regulated by the FCA. Hopefully the new CoP regulate these bottom feeders.

They are the brainchild of the owner of ZZPS (debt collectors) Gary Osner, whose further claim to fame is that he sits on the BPA board of directors!I created the model of ‘admin fees’ for debt recovery because ticket value was so low that nobody would make any money. Parking is business and business is about money, after all.https://parkmaven.com/news/gary-osner-zzps-interviewPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

So this was another thing the journo raised BG. Why do some people lose in court,
People lose in court for several reasons. They are bilkers, they park over two spaces, they abuse spaces reserved for the disabled, they ignore court procedures, the judge is ignorant/senile/having a bad day, the judge is corrupt, the judge has no choice, etc., etc., etc.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.4
