Interesting idea bubbs! 10 out of 10 for creativity
. We had roast chicken with brussels with hussle, my variation on Jamie’s recipe. I add some bacon and mushrooms to the sprouts, as well as the Worcestershire sauce. And I made the Apple Betty from the SW website which was really yummy, OH and I shared a banana custard Muller Light over it, delish! But silly me halved the recipe for two of us, not realising recipe was for 6, not 4, oh well. Slightly more syns I guess, it was worth it
. Now to get thru the evening without getting the munchies...

I've made a pork and egg loaf before so not anything like a pie! Just minced pork mixed with some herbs, put half the mixture in the bottom of the loaf tin and slightly up the sides/ends. Place some hard boiled eggs along the middle and then add the rest of the mixture. Cover with foil, cook for about an hour on 180 then remove the foil and return to the oven for 10-15 minutes to brown. It's syn Free too!
It's nice hot as part of a dinner or cold with some salad.
Really must make it again - will have to remember to put in on my menu plan for the New Year. We can have for dinner one night and then cold with salad the next day.

It's just a variation of a recipe on the SW website. The SW version uses beef mince but I prefer the pork mince with the boiled eggs. Beef mince is good for a meatloaf but I'm not so keen with the eggs through the middle.

Of course you're missing Poppy. She was so much a part of your life and it's barely a week. :A
After your massive loss (albeit not deliberate) then a pound is nothing. You can afford to treat yourself over the holiday.:xmassmile
On the subject of football, if you ever wanted to try a really inconsistent team try mine! Do you think Ole will last? :think:0 -
