Thanks Beanie! Don't know how much I'll enjoy the pudding as it's not something I liked particularly but DH has really missed it so decided to make it. Will make sure he has most of the pudding and I'll have mainly steak & kidney (although not too much kidney - not really keen on that either, LOL!)

Hope you enjoyed the wedding yesterday.

Can't believe how quiet it is on here!.

    Me too. _pale_

Any St Andrews events happening beanie ? I was dancing last weekend but can't make tomorrow night's dance. :) :heart2:🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The thread has been quiet but I expect like a RL group it'll get busy post Christmas. :)

Back from my short break. We had a great time and I think I was pretty good SW wise. I kept up with the no bread at breakfast in the hotel and although probably not a real HEB I had wholemeal bagels or bread at lunchtime. We went to the same excellent restaurant each night as it had a good menu, great service and they did JPs so no greasy chips. :D Even wine syns were constrained by my standards (shared a bottle with DH each evening). So I'm pleased that I'm unlikely to have done too much damage. :D

Today I've done my meal plan and shop. I needed quite a bit as the fridge was empty but prices do seem to be going up and up. :( My BOB milk has gone up again . It's now £1.80 so a 50% increase since September. I think I'll switch back to semi skimmed as that's ridiculous.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, half banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage with HEB milk
    L: not hungry
D: baked haddock (P), mash (F), roast vegetables and asparagus (S)
    Syns : weekend wine :D

I think the milk would be negligible but now we can have 2 x HEAs it's not really a problem. :)

I always bake mine in foil as the fishy smell doesn't hang around so much.
