    Thanks! I 'heard' that! :eek::mad:

Just relaxing in my hotel before dinner so I thought I'd catch up on my phone . It's an hour later here. It's rained a bit this evening but not much and it's not cold (about 10 degrees). We're walking our legs off so plenty of Body Magic. :)

So far I've made quite sensible SW choices. Easy with hotel breakfast. I had eggs, baked beans and ham and a bowl of fruit. I skipped any bread or cereal so I could have some at lunchtime. I had a delicious wholemeal BLT bagel so I'm counting that as my HEB. ;) Last night we found a good restaurant where I had a steak with a JP and broccoli. We liked the menu so we'll probably eat there again.

Of course there have been some wine syns but I'm trying. ;):D

You know i was joking :D
I love hotel breakfast , so much to have:rotfl::rotfl:
Glad you found somewhere nice last night :T
Keep on trying with the wine , i am sure you will succeed:D can you bring me some nice chocs back please:rotfl:

    Denise, yes for my marmalade.

In the interest of honesty total fail at lunch time. Rushing about and not able to get home for my soup. I ended up in costa having a sandwich and sharing a cake. Rubbish :(

Anyway backed to my planned tea tonight, and no syns to try and make up for lunch!

This week is probably the wrong week to start as we are out for tea Thursday Friday and Saturday ! However I'm going to do my best not beat myself up and just keep going.

  • WI yesterday and knew there would not be a loss . With OH being away last week, having a cold, and having bought some chocs for xmas, had a very bad couple of days I am embarrassed to say. So I gained 2.5lbs and felt really frustrated yesterday. Didn’t stay to group for the first time, could not face the whole ‘I’m so sorry’ routine :rotfl:. And then felt bad for not staying. And got a few messages once home from other members which was quite touching :o.

So, line drawn, lessons learned, and onwards we go :T. Have been on my dogwalk to clear my head and feeling more positive today. I know I only have myself to blame, will buy no more chocs too far in advance ;). And fingers crossed, the lbs will come off as quickly as they went on :o, wishful thinking, I know. I am back to recording food diary which does help to focus the mind. Have a meal out this w/e at our Village Hall, so will save syns for any dessert. Then MIL arriving Sunday for a few days, and more family on Monday, but planning SW friendly food as quite a few are following the plan ;).

Will keep on plodding on :rotfl:.

As Beanie says Keep Plodding! I had a few too many gins last night so over syns but hope hopefully won't be too bad when I go to WI. Had hoped for a 1.5lb loss this week but that's not going to happen now.

It's my last WI before my holiday and think I'm already in holiday mode, LOL! Won't be going to group after Thursday until, I think, it's 9 January but hopefully after my holiday I can get back on plan until Christmas & New Year then a week after for some damage limitation! Think I might need to have some SP meals during that week!

    Today's plan:

B - overnight oats - porridge HEB; Greek yoghurt P; sweetener F; frozen mixed fruit S
L - creamy mushrooms with roasted jacket potatoes - mixed mushrooms; onion; garlic S; stock F; low fat soft cheese 2
D - tuna steak and zesty cannellini beans - tuna P; beans P; lemon zest & juice S; rocket, watercress & spinach mix S; chilli S

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
Syns - low fat cream cheese 2

    Denise
  • Thanks denise. My Countdown ended yesterday and was wondering myself what to do for the month of December. Don’t want to get in holiday mood too soon, but also not very MSE to pay £4.95 to just get weighed Xmas Eve for instance. Decisions decisions :rotfl:. Am sure it will all become clear to me soon enough ;).

    RIP Clive James :(

    Evening everyone.

    Maman
I'd forgotten you were in Amsterdam. I've been twice in Winter and to other European cities at this time of year - I like the 'feel' of cities out of the peak tourist season. Have a great time.

Bubbs you look fantastic! Very brave to post your before and after.

I've vowed not to buy any chocolate till I do the Christmas shop because I know it wouldn't make it to Christmas!

This week I have been on a mission to use up some frozen filo pastry that I used to top a chicken pie on Sunday, so I made something like Greek spanakopita - feta and spinach pasties - and some samosas with leftover veg spiced up. Both were tasty and filo is quite low in syns so I can see I'll be using it more often. I'm also trying to empty the freezer a bit to make some room for Christmas food, so we'll be having some interesting meals! Tonight has been sausage casserole with all the odd sausages that were in there, roasties and green beans. I need to shop for fresh stuff tomorrow so I'll plan around what I've got to use up.

Sneaky weigh today suggests I'm heading in the right direction so far this week - hope that carries on!
