I'm pretty up to date. I follow lots of SW you tubers as well. I have a pretty recent book so I will be using that and I'm sure I will be asking lots of questions as well.
Thanks for the welcome DeniseStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

STS this weekAwesome bubbs :j :j :j :T :TWell, I'm starting again. After several months of being off plan (I struggle to get to group). I'm starting again.
I'm going to do it myself from home and would love to get some inspiration from you lovely people.
I saw a picture of myself a couple of days ago after telling myself I looked fine. I don't, I was horrified. I've had a good hard think over the last couple of days. SW is the only plan that works for me, so I'm back on it. Hope you don't mind me joining you

Amazing photos bubbs . You must be thrilled with what you've achieved.:T
Welcome Julie . There is a number of people on here going it alone. Just ask if you need any syn values or anything.
I've been out dancing this afternoon with a shared buffet tea. I took melon slices and others had brought fruit kebabs and celery so I easily stayed on plan.
As I've just got in I'm cheating a bit with the ready cooked lamb in gravy that I bought a while ago in the Coop. It was either low syn or free.
Today's EE plan :
B : NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage and HEA milk
L: fruit and celery (S)lamb (P), SW roast potatoes (F), cabbage, kale, carrots, broccoli, cauli (S)
Syns : weekend wine
Off to Amsterdam in the morning, back Thursday evening. I'll make the best choices I can.0 -

I know what your DH means. I think everyone's weight fluctuates day to day, week to week and season to season. We're just more aware because we want to stay in that 6 lbs window.0 -
Maman Well done of sticking to plan at the buffet. It really helps when there are things you can eat without worrying.
Enjoy Amsterdam. I went there a few years ago at Christmas, the weather was awful but I liked Amsterdam. I'd love to go there again but in the Spring to see the tulip fields.

Thanks Denise . I've been before but this time we're staying in Leiden. DH is a tour guide and he wants to learn about the links to the sailing of the Mayflower. We'll go into Amsterdam too as I want to visit the Rijksmuseum as it's been refurbished since we last visited.0 -
Another miserable day here today. The forecast doesn't look good all week. I hate this horrible wet and cold weather - it makes my arthritis far more painful and my breathing worse. Still only just over a week until my holiday in the sun, can't wait:D.
Today's plan:
B - stuffed portobello mushroom - couscous; stock cube F; celery, tomato, pepper, spring onions S; cottage cheese P; 0.5 HEA cheese
L - jacket potato F; cottage cheese P; 0.5 HEA cheese; lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pepper, spring onions, pickled onions S
D - LO roast chicken P; SW chips; Beans F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - not planned but maybe a couple of hifi bars later
Syns - none planned but have worked out I've got 13.5 a day left between now and Wednesday if I need them
