Just letting you all know I won't be posting on this site for a while and might not even be lurking for a few days. There are some really nasty people on this site and I've had the misfortune to encounter some today and feel like !!!! now. I won't be going off plan or anything. Hope everyone does well.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Signing in with a 1 lb gain!
I am absolutely NOT on it right now and just cannot get in the right frame of mind.
All our evening meals are homemade SW friendly like casseroles, stews, diet cola chicken etc and I always have porridge and fruit for breakfast. Lunch is usually homemade SW friendly soup or an omelette. Trouble is I have started having 2 slices of wholemeal bread and butter with it as I just don’t feel full.
I have a lot of stress with my very elderly Mum and when I feel really low I have started turning to a bar of chocolate!
Every week I leave group telling myself that I will knuckle down and get back on it but by the time I blink, it’s Saturday again.:(0 -

That's a shame TMD . Why not just put the ars*holes on ignore and stick with us. :A0 -
TMD absolutely agree with Maman. Ignore the horrible people and stay with us. Everyone on here are really friendly and helpful.
Pennylane sorry to hear you're having problems sticking to plan. I find the easiest way to not have things like chocolate is not to have any in the house or perhaps only have the treat sized bars if you feel you must have some indoors.
It must be very hard dealing with your elderly mum. That stress probably doesn't help with sticking to plan either. Could you try some relaxation exercises to help with the stress rather than turning to chocolate? Or perhaps having a long leisurely bath with bubbles and candles?

TMD I think I've just read that thread.....unfortunately some parts of the forum (and especially that one) are much less friendly, to put it mildly, than this one. Stay with us, you'll get lots of support and encouragement here.0 -

Evening all,
Like some of you I'm struggling a bit with staying fully on plan. Regretting allowing myself some slack back in September and been fighting it ever since. Have also caught a cold, and also been enduring a lot of ongoing stress at work and home too. Seems my own faithful 'frienemy' bread keeps offering a shoulder to lean on.
Anyway, roast dinner planned for tomorrow, not even going to mention today's un-plan.
TMD I understand how you feel. I once ventured elsewhere here for some advice, and ended up not being believed, and accused of being a fantasist! Never been anywhere else except this part of the forum since. It's a very different place to what it once was 10 years ago. Stick with us here, this is a safe place to be.
Off on travels with OH again tomorrow, so will need to do some planning for meals. Will ensure I eat before we leave the house to ensure there's no chance of being tempted.
On the upside, after last week's weekend away I had gained 3lb!! Glad to say that it was reduced by 2lb yesterday, so only a 1lb gain. Will be back on it from tomorrow. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Morning all! Another horrible miserable day. Planning on having a lazy day today.
Today's plan:
B - Fry up - sausages 2; egg P; beans F; mushrooms; tomatoes S
L - Carrot & lentil soup - lentils P; carrots; onions S; stock F
D - roast chicken dinner - chicken P; roast potatoes F; roasted carrots, peppers, onions S; cabbage S
HEA - milk
HEB - 1 slice bread 0.5; 2 Ryvita 0.5
Syns - sausages 2; butter 3.5
If I can stick to plan 100% today I think I should be back on track synwise!
Have a good day everyone.
