    Gained 2 Pounds This Week

    Too much stress.
    Too much wine.
    Too many carbs.
It'll soon be gone again right?

  • Thank you everyone for the welcome, it is really appreciated. This is the type of forum I've missed so I am really excited to be a part of it.

Sunday for us is a SW Roast Dinner and I always bake a crustless Quiche for the week ahead. I've had the washing machine on all day and been knitting and watching Christmas films early to late evening, it keeps my hands busy and less snacking.

Have a great night and see you all tomorrow. Weigh in day for me :)

Had a sneaky peek at the scales this morning and looking like I've put on a lb over the weekend:eek:. Definitely need to try to keep things low syn but that isn't happening today as I bought the wrong sausages and they are 2 syns each:eek: - definitely not work that and will be having 3 so 6 syns wasted for dinner tonight.

    Today's plan:

    B - beans on toast
L - mushroom omelette with salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, celery, spring onions
D - sausages, mash, cabbage, green beans, onions, onion gravy

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 6:eek:

  • Good morning all

I am planning to join my local SW club next week after pay day. For the last week I have been sticking to SW recipes

I am very much in to slow cooker recipes, do we have any, on here? x

Welcome pickled :). You will find links to a lot of SW recipes in the first few posts of this thread. Might include some SC ones. A personal favourite of mine is the Campfire Stew from the Pinch of Nom (PON) website ;).

    Good luck!

  • Well I'm retaining water as I appear to have gained 4 lbs overnight...not even possible-I did have smoked mackerel yesterday which was quite salty-could that be why??
