Bubbs that is an A M A Z I N G loss, well done!! Would have had a whoop and a cheer from my weighing lady ;-)

Welcome to new joiners and returners and well done on all the losses posted. Had lunch out today with OH as I’m a year older today ☺️, had steak with lots of salad and for afters coffee with a mini dessert. All sauces and dressings on the side, so it could have been so much worse. Facetimed with kiddywinkles away at uni, miss them lots but so glad to be able to communicate like this. Another month and they will have broken up for xmas, DD will certainly come home for a month, DS for some of the time (does not want to be away from his gym for too long).

Crustless quiche I made yesterday for tea tonight, gotta plan my Strictly snacks for later, probably grapes ;-). So glad I am not in Derbyshire but cannot believe how dark & wet it is here in Bucks.

    Thanks,
    Happy belated birthday x
Bet it is nice looking forward to having everyone home:D

I'm doing today's chicken in the SC so it'll have flabby, pale skin which I won't be tempted with at all!:D

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg (P) HEB toast, HEA milk
L: JP (F) with chill' (P,S) and cottage cheese (P and beetroot (S)
D: roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), carrots, cabbage, kale, broccoli, cauli (S)
Syns: HM gravy 4?, weekend wine;)
  • Her Ladyship sent me to Sainsbury for wine and I couldn't resist these - would have seemed rude not to come home with them.

Burgers to feed her later and take to work tomorrow btw.
Cakes and wine I can assist with!

Don't you go telling me I'm not getting enough calories Bubb ... :rotfl:

Thanks bubbs. Are you ok? Or shouldn’t I ask :D? Not sure what you mean....

Very chilly here but sunny and dry so have been putting in my winter pansies and violas outside, after dogwalk. Quick lunch of some pumpkin soup and piece of quiche, then top up car with exhaust fluid and check tyre pressures. Only to get rid of all the warning lights that come on to remind you of everything .

Something with chicken breasts for dinner, possibly the easy curry. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday :).

    Afternoon,

Fantastic loss Bubbs. I hope you're feeling better today and you were still able to enjoy the theatre.

PIB belated birthday greeting. I hope you had a lovely day.

Pennylane well done on your loss, and I hope things improve for you.

Great news Denise about your results.

I can very much relate about a wavering mojo. Mine keeps tuning in and out. Our w/end away last week saw a 2.5lb gain, and have managed to get that down by -1lb. I am away again next weekend with my best friend, so want to have a low syn week in the run up to it.

Went shopping last night and bought plenty of meat and veg for the freezer. They have the kilo trays of rump steak in Lidl again at the moment - haven't seen those for months, so bought 2 trays. I then found 2 half salmon at an amazing 90p each! :money: I don't really like salmon, but will cut into portions for DS4 who loves fish. I also bought the christmas turkey, which I thought were good value at £15.99 for one 6.5kg bird. Fitted nicely into a drawer in the freezer, along with a pack of maple cured lean streaky bacon for the hm pigs in blankets before the prices sky rocket or there aren't any in stock.

TMD your meals always look so colourful and appetising

    So meal plan today:
B - banana & slice of toast HEB (2 LF spread)
    L - bacon sandwich - 5.5
D - steak, SW chips, carrots, cauliflower & broccoli - allow 2 for dressing
Then I blew it with a cinnamon bun that OH brought me with a cup of tea this afternoon :( I could have resisted :rotfl: and pigs might fly ;)

On a positive note I bought a new sports bra & leggings :p

Glad to hear you're all set for Body Magic sary .:D

My DH didn't used to like salmon but I started giving it to him with soy and ginger or chilli sauce and he's learned to enjoy it. :D

Maman I'm a bit of a heathen, I like my salmon out of a tin, with vinegar and in a sandwich with some cucmber. I've tried it baked and poached, but it's just a bit overwhelmingly 'fishy' for me. Whereas DS4 loves all fish and seafood, adores crayfish, whitebait, squid and prawns, etc. I just wish I did, as it is often a special on a menu.

Blew my plan for today - DH cooked some bite sized sausage rolls at lunchtime and I ended up eating 6 of them (@2.5 syns each:eek:). Think it leaves me with just a couple of syns for the rest of the week!

Definitely needs to be as synfree as possible next week.

The only redeeming thing is that I found some red cabbage in the freezer so got a bag out and will add that to tonight's dinner! At last my freezer inventory has been updated and I have rejigged the menu plan until we go on holiday so that I don't need to buy any more meat (apart from sausages from the butchers for breakfasts!) or fish before we go away.

    Denise
