Thanks all-I have a feeling it didn't go very well, but they said they would write once they made a decision. Oh well. I can't change it now.
Food today
I had Weetabix for breakfast(always forgetting photos in the morning) and also a bowl of the veg soup that I had yesterday but yep forgot to take a photo.
I didn't weigh on my scales last week so I guess they could be inaccurate. Will see on Wednesday I guess LOL.
I've had the most normal period ever for the first time in about 30 years. Usually they're really heavy and require hourly changes so as not to leak. This one was just normal. No leakage. No clots. No weird stuff. Maybe all that veg is having an effect lolDebts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Wow Bubbs, your dinner looked lush!
TMD- Your food always looks amazing too! Fingers crossed for a positive outcome from the tribunal.
Maman- yes, having a plan definitely helps. However my well laid plan for dinner last night was totally derailed! OH tried to be helpful last night and cooked dinner whilst I was in the shower post the HIIT class I did at the gym...
1) Bless him he made a stir-fry...so I had stir fry twice yesterday!:rotfl:
2) He used SUPERNOODLES instead of dried egg noodles in the cupboard and when I googled the syn value of a pack...10 syns/pack and he used 2 packs :eek::eek::eek: so that's 10 unplanned syns!
So I went over on my syns yesterday, by 5.5!
I've seen that some of you look at syns over the course of the week, so do you think if I have a couple of low syn days now in the run up to Saturday when my weigh day is that it'll even itself out? All my hard work in the gym last night was cancelled out by dinner. :rotfl:0 -
It's good to hear that you're feeling the health benefits of SW TMD. Sorry you didn't think the interview went too well but, as you said, it's over and you can't change it now so focus on the things you can change like your health.:)
I've been to the GP this morning. While the bloating isn't as bad as it was he's suggested I try peppermint oil capsules to see if that makes a difference. He did say I might want to look at FODMAP too. I'll look but not sure if it's for me.:( I've looked carefully at my food diary and there's nothing specific I can find.
On the plus side I asked him to check my weight and although it's not the same scales I'm assuming in a surgery they'd be fairly accurate. He says I'm in target range.:D I plan to go to WI this week anyway and then I'll know for sure.
I called into the little Co-op while I was out. The BoB milk has gone up again. It was £1.20, then jumped to £1.60 and now £1.80! I'm thinking that now we have an extra HEA option that I might go back to green top. It's right that BoB milk has the taste of green top but the fat of red but the price is getting silly.:(
I think the salmon is free (Sainsbury's with IIRC lemon & herb dressing) but if not it'll be low syn.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, 2 boiled eggs (P)
L: cold chicken (P), fried veg, beetroot (S), 1 fried potato (F)baked salmon (P), SW chips (F) cauli steak, broccoli, tomato, mushrooms (S)

Yes, lots of us do that. We work from a weekly syn bank of 105. I save my syns for weekends and eat fairly low syn or syn free in the week. I've done it right from the start. Denise and Bubbs do very similar. So it can work.
So yes, I'd agree you try cutting back between now and WI and see what happens.
I can't believe that Super Noodles are so high syn! Whatever have they added to them.:eek:0 -
I've also been to see the GP this morning. I needed to get a repeat prescription for the tablets the endrochonologist prescribed as only have just over a weeks worth of tablets left and it took a week to get them last time from the pharmacy! Hopefully they'll be here before I run out.
I also needed to do my BP am and pm this week prior to going to see him as I suffer from white coat syndrome! He's happy that taking my BP at home seems to show that my BP is fine with the tablets I'm on - I'm glad I refused to increase the dose when I saw a different dr a while back who wanted to add an additional tablet.
Eyebright I agree with Maman that reducing your Syns for a few days will help for WI on Saturday. I've been using a weekly syn bank for as long as I can remember and I've been doing SW since 2010! (gosh, is it really that long, LOL!)
Maman good that your GP scales show that you're within target range. My GP surgery scales tend to show that I'm heavier than the group ones but that's possibly because my appointments tend to be later than the time I weigh at group.
Today's plan:
B - creamy garlic mushrooms with roasted jacket potatoes (recipe from slimming eats website) - S; F; 2
L - jacket potato; cottage cheese, salad - F; P; S (will try to remember extra Speed via pickles today!)
D - shepherds pie & veg - P; F; S. Not sure what veg yet but will include cabbage as I bought one yesterday
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but may have a couple of Hifis at some time during the day/evening
Syns - Light Philly 2
That's my syns for this week used up so will need to be syn free tomorrow!
Had a sneaky look at the scales this morning and it's looking like an STS which is OK by me as still near bottom end (only half lb from bottom end!)

Afternoon,
Lots going on in peoples' lives on here ATM, so hope we are all doing okay.
Talking about OH scuppering best laid plans, the steak & salad meal I had planned for Sunday evening went by the wayside as OH had agreed to drive one of his sons home slap-bang in the time I would have been just about ready to dish up. There wasn't time to bring it forward, and would have meant eating at 5:30pm, when we'd only had lunch at 2pm. Ended up with a fast-food option on our way back home at 8pm, which was not in the plan!
Yesterday I felt really quite poorly after lunchtime, and so much so that I couldn't face eating at all until about 10pm when it had seemed to pass. I was absolutely freezing cold, despite being wrapped up under 3 blankets, thick socks and the heating on. So yesterday's plan was like this:
Mon:
L - banana & fruit quark (1)
L - mixed leaf salad, with cheese (HEA1) & dressing (1); melon, strawberries & mango
D - wholemeal toast with spread HEB & about 12 syns for extra slices (I had 3)
HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee
Today's plan:
L - banana
L - mixed leaf salad, carrot, cucumber, tomato, peppered ham & cheese (HEA1) dressing (1.5); mango, strawberries & melon (some was left over from yesterday too as I stopped eating it halfway thru)
D - rump steak, cabbage, cauliflower & carrots & potatoes (can't decide whether to do SW fries, mash or boiled spuds) dressing (2)
Fingers crossed my stomach will stay calmer this afternoon. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Hope you're feeling better Sary.
I usually do SW chips when we have steak at home. Stick with jackets when we're eating out.
