Fantastic losses. Well done bubbs and kitty .:T:T:T:T

The WI woman sounds a right misery bubbs . Maybe she had a gain this week. :D

Welcome eyebright . Do ask if you need any syn values. Your target for Christmas seems very achievable. Maybe you can smash it. :D

We've got football this afternoon and planning on something to eat beforehand in the city centre, probably a JP. I've cooked the HB steaks for dinner so will reheat and thicken the gravy when I'm back.

Burgers made and in the freezer. Do you cook HM burgers from frozen?

Will post menu later when I've had lunch. :)

I know others have so much more going on ( thinking of Sue ) but I’m feeling very sorry for myself :( I’m in so much pain at the end of every day my will power disappears but at least I didn’t buy biscuits this week :o. Did find some chocolate stars which I’d bought for cooking with the kids but didn’t use :o only ate one layer :rotfl:

    Happy Saturday all :A :p

    Afternoon everyone.

Brilliant losses Bubbs and Kitty! Every little counts TIE. And welcome Eyebright to the thread.

Hey ho, weigh in no surprise - no gain this week but still 3lbs out of target range. I'll keep plodding, as Beanie says!

    Todays Menu
B Bran flakes/crunch, banana, 0%fat Greek Yoghurt and a squirt of caramel syrup (1/2 syn)
L Have a pan of pea and ham soup bubbling away for lunch - smells lovely - so that and some fruit
D Not sure yet- don't know who I'm feeding. If its just me and OH it'll be something veggie, maybe chilli.

I made sweet and sour pork last night, inspired by an earlier discussion here (sorry I can't remember who it was now) - delicious and minimal syns in the sauce.

    Have a good weekend all.

Change of plan for lunchtime - we had cheese on toast rather than a toasted cheese sandwich and very nice it was too. DH had his on HM sourdough which he'd made himself.

Had some good news in the post today. My endrochonologist has written to my GP, copied to me, to say that my calcium levels are now normal so the tablets he prescribed are definitely doing the job. Have an appointment on Tuesday to see the GP so need to get another prescription as still haven't got a date for my operation but to be quite honest I don't really want it until after my holiday now!

Hope you find your mojo soon esmy and that your health problems improve.

    Hi Everyone,

Please can I join you all? I've been doing SW all year and managed to lose just over 2 stone, before my life went haywire over the summer and I stopped going and lost the plot a little bit!
    Welcome!!

Glad your calcium levels are good now-were they too low or too high before?

Much too high! I had 3 months of weekly visits to the hospital for fluids by drip - it was usually an all day job what with having a blood test, waiting for the results, then waiting to see the Dr, waiting for the fluids to come from pharmacy and then 4 hours on a drip followed by another wait to see the Dr! Was so glad when I was given the tablets otherwise I would still be on weekly visits for fluids!

  • Bubbs that is an A M A Z I N G loss, well done!! Would have had a whoop and a cheer from my weighing lady ;-)

Welcome to new joiners and returners and well done on all the losses posted. Had lunch out today with OH as I’m a year older today ☺️, had steak with lots of salad and for afters coffee with a mini dessert. All sauces and dressings on the side, so it could have been so much worse. Facetimed with kiddywinkles away at uni, miss them lots but so glad to be able to communicate like this. Another month and they will have broken up for xmas, DD will certainly come home for a month, DS for some of the time (does not want to be away from his gym for too long).

Crustless quiche I made yesterday for tea tonight, gotta plan my Strictly snacks for later, probably grapes ;-). So glad I am not in Derbyshire but cannot believe how dark & wet it is here in Bucks.

    🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳
