TMD, i think you will be surprised when you weigh in :D:D

Exactly what I was going to post!

Need a quick dinner tonight as have another scan today and they've changed the appointment from 12.40 to 5.20 and the hospital is about an hour away, probably more on the way back because of the rush hour!

    Today's plan:

B - overnight oats - oats (HEB); mixed frozen fruit, frozen cherries (S); FF greek yoghurt (P); skinny syrup (F)
L - LO roast potatoes (F); LO cabbage (S) fried up together; eggs (P), beans (F)
    D - burger (0.5); SW chips (F); onions (S); pickles (S)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge oats
Syns - butchers LF burger 0.5; will also have something else but not sure what as I had a quick look at weight this morning and looking like I've dropped out of bottom end:eek:.

No idea how but definitely don't want to drop out and have to try and put weight on. This has been going on for a month now where I'm losing and shouldn't be as I'm going way over Syns for the week.

Having read your 2nd post TMD if you went on Thursday your week actually started Thursday as soon as you stepped on those scales!

Maman is right that you may not lose as much not doing a full week but I'm sure you'll still have a good loss.

What time are you weighing tomorrow? I wouldn't like to be an evening weigher as I'm sure I'm always heavier in the evening than I am in the morning.

I went in the evening on Thursday so didn't start until Friday morning and I'm weighing tomorrow morning so won't have eaten anything yet. The weigh in is at 9:30am which suits me better as I don't have to worry about children as they will be at school.

So my breakfast plans of porridge were ruined as my kids used ALL. THE. MILK so I was not happy. I had eggs instead with mushrooms and onion and cucumber and tomato for speed but I was planning to have eggs at lunch so now I'm rethinking my menu LOL

Me neither but I think as long as you get into a regular pattern then it probably balances out. I think what matters is that you try to do the same every week. I always have my smallest breakfast (Weetabix) in advance and try to wear the same (or very similar) clothes. I generally try to have my most portion controlled dinner (Bolognese) the night before too. :)

When I first started I wore the same pair of trousers to WI every week that I'd just happened to be wearing the first day. In the end I could take them on and off without undoing the zip and had to wear a belt to keep them up. People laughed and called them my 'clown trousers'!:rotfl:

I've had my SW breakfast (scrambled eggs) and we'll see how the rest of the day works out. I'm not feeling particularly hungry at the moment but I'll wait until I see the menu and what everyone else is eating.

That's infuriating having the scan changed to such an inconvenient time. :( Maybe some of the traffic will have gone by the time you get out. :)

TMD You can make porridge with water. To make it creamy soak it first for 10-15 minutes before cooking, either in pan or microwave. I know it means you won't have your HEA for breakfast.

As you've now had eggs and don't really want them for lunch (although there's no reason why you can't! as they are Free and Protein!). How about having some Ryvita or similar with some cheese, pickles & salad instead. That way you will at least get your HEA and HEB in for lunch.

Just been out shopping and DH saw some more squash when we were in Morries and said let's get a couple more to have the same as we had last night! Although he's suggested we have mince with it next time, LOL! Men and their wanting meat every day!!! But can't see a problem with that for one of them but will stick to the spicy rice for the other one. Just need to rejig my menu plan again, LOL!

No ryvita or pickles at home...I have stir fry veg so will make that I think and add some cheese as hea

At least you still have your HEB left so you could have something on toast?:)

Thinking of the timing of your week. It won't matter this week as it's your first and you know that it's not the full 7 days.

On other weeks your weekly syns allowance and your SW week starts, like denise said, from the moment you stepped off those scales. So, if you're allowed 175 syns a week and you chose to have a big blow out tomorrow night than they count from your total (just like whatever you had last Thursday night counts). There are lots of people who have a treat day on WI day (I know a woman who always had a fish supper on the way home:D) which is fine but it has to count in your weekly total IYSWIM.

I don't generally have breakfast on WI day although sometimes I do. I think it depends how I feel on the day! If I do it tends to be something light such as some granola (you don't get very much for your HEB!) and a little milk.

If I've got any puffed wheat or Honey Monster wheat puffs with a dash of honey I'll have some of that - 40g is loads and I can also eat it without milk! I usually put that into a pot with a lid so that I can eat some at home and then take the rest to group to pick at!

I think for now daily sins works best for me so I'm going to stick with it. I'd find it too difficult to have no treats on 6 days even if I had a big blowout the 7th day.

Oh good idea..I forgot bread existed for a second there haha
