That stuffed squash recipe sounds tasty denise. Let us know how it works out.
I'd expect the diet advice will be about weightloss because so many people exacerbate breathing problems (and other health issues) by being overweight. I've never heard of any particular foods being good for breathing though. It'll be interesting to know what they say.
Potentially this isn't going to be my best week. We're eating out twice, lunch tomorrow and dinner on Thursday. I'll make wise choices if available though and tomorrow no wine syns will be involved because I need to drive later in the day. Today I should be able to stay on plan though.:)
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
L: ham (P) with fried veg and pickles (S) and 1 potato (F)baked salmon (P), SW chips (F) with cauli steak, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli (S)
Syns: none planned;)0 -

Quick question-how do we know the syn values of food on the pinch of nom website? I saw a notice to say they'd taken them off which is frustrating for a newbie like me.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Basically TMD you'll need to check the Syns on Lifeline Online but you'll soon get to know the syns of things you regularly use. Of course you could always ask on here for the syns. If you have their book I actually went through it and wrote the syns on each recipe so if you want any of those I can find them quite easily for you!

Maman will definitely let you know what the stuffed squash is like. I The recipe says butternut squash but I picked up a decent sized squash in Aldi last week so planning on using that.
I think your probably right about the diet/nutrition part of it but I pleasantly surprised that there is actually no-one who is excessively overweight on the group I'm with. There are a couple who are probably in the overweight bracket by probably not by very much. DH and I are definitely fitter than most of them though!
I need to change my menu again this week as the course on Friday has been changed to 2pm so we'll need something a bit lighter than the jacket, beans & salad I've got planned. Has anyone got any suggestions for something light but will fill us up?
Maman Enjoy your meals out this week.

Oh thank you-very kind of you-I'll post here when I find any recipes I want to use. Such a shame SW made them remove the values. I can understand why but it's still annoying.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34
