We're halfway through the month.
Time to have a quick review of the initial challenge and how you are faring on the different aspects. Expect to be at different stages for each one, depending on how old a turtle you are, and how your life functions!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Halfway there argh this month is flying by. Soon be C.
Yesterday had a spendy day, Got work trousers half price in sainsbob sale£7.50 , together with xmas pressies pjs, socks used my nectar points doubled up voucher and survey gift card. Spent £20 just on food so happy with that.
However treated my couchs to new throws but what a difference, look fab and so cozy, never going out again. These dont slip and slide like the one I had before. Really pleased with my spends.
Needed petrol as well yesterday within budget though
My night out 2 drinks and locketts to stop me coughing. Spent under a tenner, play was funny. Not pc however probably why series not shown anymore. Good night out however, friend loved it as well.
Today spent as well ordered a new duvet mine is not that warm anymore. Refuse to get an electric blanket:D
NSD - remaining at 8/15.
De clutter 4/60 magazines handed to friends.
Food 51/100
Petrol 40/40
Going out £28/£60

Being cheeky and moaning to cc company I had been charged interest this month. Been with them years and always pay before the due date anyway agree to refund the interest charged, I may have been late paying actually
Locketts and bananas making my working day managable with cold from hell.

NSD No 10
Budget is going well and most C presents bought and wrapped. Just a few to go.
No coffee shops and retired so no need to take lunch to work
Been decluttering but not counting. Quite a lot disposed of. Put some more boxes in the recycling bin today as well as an old pair of shoes and I've identified three pairs of unused curtains (still in wrapping) to go to charity shop. I don't have curtains, just blinds, so I don't know why I bought them really. I'm sure someone will be grateful for them. Lots still to go from the Boy's ex room but he needs to do it and I don't see it happening this side of Christmas.
Using up toiletries. Still got loads. As I explained yesterday I have bulk purchased some heavy/bulky items to save Himself carrying. They arrived today and will last us for months before having to order any more but I will use up what we already have before starting to use the new stuff.
No outings planned
Failing miserably at getting out in the fresh air. It is so cold!
Still to donate but have identified the causes we intend to support.
Really not doing well with my new habits. I think I'm just not a breakfast person and there are so many scones, pancakes etc in the freezers that I can't eat them and fruit as well. Still, I do see a little chink of light appearing so long as I can stop Himself buying anything else.
Not going too badly all in all.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Halfway through the month, I think I've found the money I thought I'd somehow lost so that makes the rest of the month a much brighter prospect! Didn't get to check in yesterday as work was manic, managed to get to the gym in the morning, bought a birthday card on the way home so wasn't a NSD. Today am off work but looking after my nieces while my sister goes to a funeral. Am going to stop by a shop on the way home and buy a voucher as an Xmas present as I'm in the area. Nothing else to report.0

Congrats on getting the bus pass, calling! I don't reckon they'll still be doing them by the time I'm eligible... And I had to laugh at your last bus being 6.15 so you'lljot get too drunk!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
