Go for it ccl - that'll leave more prawn cocktail and s&v for me!

Today I am grateful for dd having a good day at school, for getting a 'big' liddle shop done- to use the10 off voucher - and only just making the 40 limit!, for using far fewer balm tissues than of late, for dd going swimming and me doing some stretches in the stretch room while she pretended to be a fish, for being able to help out my neighbour who is struggling a lot at the mo, for my cousin getting through to the second round of interviews.

Had a weight management appointment at 9.30am and ended up walking there - the first bus goes ten minutes early and the next one would have got there too late. Made it with minutes to spare (drenched by several vans and cars) and I have actually lost some weight.

Bought an anybus ticket and went to Morries (far end of the line), checked all the ys stuff, bought a couple of things for mum and salad for me and lots for the food bank (soup, beans, biscuits and toiletries) and put it in the collecting trolleys.

Home to eat and then out again. Finally got all the old mobile phones and chargers to the tech recycling point and then went in b'n'q to buy liners for mum's wall baskets. Just missed a bus (usually turn round but didn't and it sailed past me as I got to the stop) and waited for 20 - 30 cold slow painful minutes for the next one. Got a taxi from the bus station as I would have had to walk 2 long blocks from the stop to mum's house.

Have put mum's bin out, put the liners in the baskets and filled them (using up the end of the 40l coir compost and a bag of ordinary compost) and put away all the food delivery. Spent some time resting on mum's bed - to get to the tech recycling I had to walk back from the bus stop, across the car park and all across the front and the side of the big SM and I was on my last legs when I finally got to mum's.

Back on the bed now and no plans to move further than the bathroom. Today I am grateful for getting several jobs done in out of the way places (tough even using the bus), for putting my bin out when I got back from the doctor's and for finding out of season items.

Have managed a bit of decluttering, even got DD to let a few things go, so 32/60. Really need to get this number up to clear some space, "stuff" just seems to get everywhere.
Have made a pile of half used bits like hand cream and lip balm on a shelf in the living room, I'm hoping if I see them every time I walk into the room I might remember to use them!
Grateful today for fluffy socks, hot water bottles and cosy hats, a stock of batch cooked ready meals in the freezer and volunteers who give up their time to run youth groups.

NSDs - 6/15. - Still stuck on 6. Next week should be a lot better....especially as hubby is out of the country for 3 days lol :rotfl:

Lunch to work - Sausage rolls for the kids, soup for hubby.

Outings - 1/2 - next one planned for the 17/11.

Daily fresh air - Bus drop off done, need to do some tidying up around the outside of the house today.

New habits - Managed my routines yesterday despite being under-the-weather. Still have to do them today, but not worried. Thinking of things to be thankful for is really helping with a positive mindset....thankfully I'm feeling about 80% better today, so let's keep that going :D

Morning! NSD7 will be today! slightly more than 1 in 2.
I have just checked, and all I need for the rest of the week is in the house. Hooray!
So keeping my head down, hiding from the shops, simply not going into any.

Cleaning my kitchen and scrubbing the floors today and a bit of light recreational baking, and top-up soup making to try and stop kids from eating everything not nailed down in the pantry.

House is looking quite tidy, noticeably tidy in fact. By 'eck it is boring though.:rotfl:. I feel terribly dull, and excessively boring.
Gratitudes: books, hot water bottles, finding a pair of gloves without having to look very hard, candles, hot tea and warm cuddles.

It looks like winter proper is on its way. Keep warm Turtles.
