Me please apple - I need a large kick up the backside.

Not gonna give you a kick. Just an unlimited supply of hugs and cheering on. And a load of comfy cushions and fluffy blankets on this month's naughty chaise longue...! Just in case...

I've lurked for a long time but never posted. However in October money seemed to disappear and I need to focus to stay on track, so joining in seems like a good idea. Not sure how I'll get on, but posting to keep track of NSDs will hopefully help. I also need to do some serious decluttering so 2 a day should be very possible. Count me in and wish me luck

Wow! We are honoured to be your first post e v e r :D Since 2015?!

Ditty - don't worry about trying to remember it all. But do return to post #1 every so often, to remind yourself. Glad you decided to join us.

Count me in please, have been extremely naughty in October and bought clothes that I didn't necessarily need and also booked a holiday that now needs paying for! Definitely forgot how to differentiate between wants and needs! Had a vet bill today, most should be covered under the insurance but still, I need to get back on the wagon in November. Not sure what I can declutter as I had a huge declutter earlier this year but I'll see what I can do. I have about £700 on my credit card so I need to get work towards reducing it ASAP.
    Car debt May 2020 £5,200 - September 2021 £579
    Medical costs January 2021 £1,080 - May 2021 £0
Car costs September £834 - insurance claim ongoing...
    Vet bill September £725

Pay off all your debt by Xmas 2021 #19
  • Please add me to the group! I need to get back on track. I am going away for two days at the end of November. Can I also have therapy as an exempt expense please.

So I've started the decluttering early- 3 things (including a tent I've been storing on its way somewhere else) out of the house tonight. Has cleared a space in the hallway. Have written out all the must be paid bits for next month, so have an idea of spending budgets for the month.
And yes my first ever posts. I read a lot of diaries when I first joined, used them as inspiration to clear a lot of debt, stopped reading for a bit, but am now trying to balance clearing the last bits of debt (all on a 0%cc) and saving for a house deposit. I think in the last few months I've dropped the ball a bit as I've had money leftover at the end of the month!

Indigo - yep, therapy is exempt. It is a medical necessity. You can even borrow the naughty chaise longue and lounge on it for it.
