TAPLADY - that is awful. Thank heavens the hedge was there and not a brick wall; it doesn't bear thinking about. The other driver must have known what he did. So glad your DS is alright but he must be very shaken. It's good that someone stopped and witnessed the whole thing.

CATOWEN - yes, rude bits of that tape are gradually coming back to me, now that I've started thinking about it! I hate swearing, especially the F-word, but it certainly enhances the songs on that one!

JAYWARD - stick with us - you'll soon get to know how we communicate with each other!

Well, I've made some flapjacks and some mincemeat shortbread and I'm now deciding whether to go to the gym today or tomorrow. The time has whizzed by this morning - I really want to tackle the Christmas present room which is a complete mess, now, because I just keep throwing things in and shutting the door on it. I have decided I won't go to the gym until tomorrow - I should have a less busy day then (famous last words!) so I'll have another cuppa then make another start on the pressies!

TWINK - don't you just love your children when they tell everyone how old you are?! Anyway, tell KYLE that 60 is the new 25, which makes you younger than her, now! Have a great day!

Have hoovered whole house, cleaned bathroom and kitchen, done DD's [strike]pit [/strike] room

Mopped floors, hung towels on line, dont think they will dry, misserable here cold and damp.

Day off today which is nice, got my OH his main christmas pressie today so only bits left to get for him and will do some more shopping this afternoon. Did my weekly shopping as well (and boy are the prices going up!) and will be putting on the WM soon and deciding what to make for lunch. Still sewing like crazy trying to get my baby present finished in the next 4 weeks - it's going to be touch and go if it gets finished so we'll see what happens :rolleyes:

Pink....Adam is a big strapping lad and will be fighting fit again soon. I promise. Miss Pink looks stunning. I'm so glad she enjoyed it and that things may get back to normal in the household now.

Jayward....I hope you continue to get support from posting on here. Thinking about you and yours.

Taplady - Hope your son is okay. It must have shook him up dreadfully. These idiots on the road just don't realise the problems they cause. I remember he changed his job recently so hope he sorts the problem of how to get there okay - and the insurance thing.


On the run today because house is upsidedown after having people visiting yesterday. (ashamed to admit I left the cleaning up till today )

After I've swished and swiped everywhere I've got to run up some cakes for the lunches this week and freeze them. Speaking of which, just discovered my new chest freezer has been unplugged since 1pm yesterday (DS1 needed socket for his wii and didn't wonder what he was unplugging. :mad: ) Good job I didn't have much in there but my ice cream is soup now.

Not much going on apart from been and done the weeks big shop, got stewing steak in slow cooker for tea later, got my xmas cds blasting out and about to wrap some ebay parcels up, have been doing really well on ebay lately so feeling some more listings coming on.!

Well my [STRIKE]booze fest [/STRIKE]sunday lunch at the black and white one was fab. I had my five portions of veg for the [STRIKE]month[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]week [/STRIKE]whatever Anyway that girl can cook really well for a cuddly black and white animal and there was not a bamboo shoot in sight:D She had swept through specially and the house was gleaming:D you would all have been proud.:T

Back on the kitchen fitters trail this week to get the last few things finished off - would be nice if it could be done by Christmas since its started in September:mad: Anyway I dont know why I am pushing it it will only mean I have to start using it again!!

Anyway today is going to be a work day with a quick trip to the dentist for an x ray this afternoon
