  • Good morning everyone!

Firstly, Jayward, so sorry to hear your sad news. It puts my minor concerns into perspective.

Pink - your DD looks stunning! That'll be my DD next year  :D:D Glad that DS1 is improving.

    Happy Birthday to Twink :bdaycake:

Shez, how were the mince pies? Any left for us

    Congratulations to Gingham

Off for a run soon, if I can brave the cold  Then back for breakfast of coffee and fruit loaf. Fish pie for tea.

Have a great day, Penny. x

    4) Go to Tesco's for basics
    5) Read all afternoon :D
    6) Fetch kids from school
    7) Cook Chinese style minced pork and rice for tea.

Pink - DD looks lovely, I think it is fantastic that we have proms now. Glad Adam is recovering well.

Happy Birthday Twink - have a fantastic day

Mioliere - good luck at the dentist.

No OS here today, we are all off to London to take DD to her specialist at the University Hospital, not been before so just about to look up directions, we have decided to take DS too and have promised then a trip to Hamlins (sp) to spend their pocket money. Hopefully will see some nice Xmas displays as well. Will have dinner up there as well so hopefully trains wont be too packed on the way home.

Pleased with myself yesterday, cleared the ironing pile and got 6 things listed on ebay. Have promised myself that will get some more listed tomorrow - have got loads of stuff I can sell and is cluttering up my house.

Best be off now, have a great day.

    Morning everyone

Pink, your DS looks beautiful...well she is beautiful of course, but you know what I mean! Hopefully she'll be a bit less stressed (and stressful) now that her big event is out of the way. Glad to hear Adam is making progress. If school is too much for him, then yes, he can cut down his hours again, but it's good that he's actually been looking to go back.

Twink, happy birthday!! Hope you get spoilt rotten today.

AussieLass hope your peppers turn out as well preserved as Twink.

Today - is a normal Monday...drag myself to wo*k, moan a lot when there, race back home at 5.00pm, do loads of housey stuff, go to bed. What excitement.

    Have a great Monday all.

    Snowy

    Morning All

Back at work after a week off. Need another week to recover I was so busy!

Not really much to report. Cooking is hard at the mo, as Mum's having a new kitchen fitted. So it's slow cooker or microwave or nothing at all! It's driving me nuts.

Waiting for survey to be done on the flat, then I'll instruct the searches to go ahead.

Going to the bank later to pay in some PIN money. Other than that, business as usual

    Happy Birthday to those celebrating

    Morning peeps,
Been busy this week crafting pressies again.
Sunday we went to the Tate modern,DD and I are both Art mad. There is a fantastic giant spider just outside, unfortunately the artist who's exhibit it was,was the paid-for exhibition so we didnt see any more of her stuff(£10 a person to look!).
Hubby works in London so we had no trouble finding parking or the gallery.
We splashed out on pizza and cheese cake from a pizza restaurant too(rare event in our family),it was lovely but not as filling as homemade.
I finally succumbed to the slow cooker temptation and have ordered one with my ipoints.
Today I have to buy DD's 3 week supply of bus tickets. She has an 8 mile journey each way for 6th form.Lots of her cronies have to buy their own but we dont give pocket money now she has EMA and so I pay her fares instead.
Hopefully the postie wont have anything thrilling to deliver while I am out.
*Hugs* to all those that need them :)
    Bye for now
