    Morning All

Not doing too well with this week's list yet but my hall, stairs and landing are clear and hoovered. I can't remember the last time the landing and stairs were done, especially the stairs as I hate doing them:o. Just clearing the LR floor so I can hoover it but that may have to wait until this evening, we'll see. Need to sort out PE kit for DD so might do a bit of ironing while I'm at it and put the dishes away that are on the drainer.

Okay I'll go and carry on - just thought I'd better post before the forums go down.

Hope everyone has a good day

  • Been bumbling along in my usual fashion, I did a big clean before our holiday at the start of Nov (only we would go to North Devon in November! Had a lovely time though, good to get away from it all) but since I have been back I have been slow to get back into it.

My kitchen is just about straight, I plan to attack the floor and that of the hall, stairs and Living room today. Will do some dusting too and wipe all surfaces down. If I manage that much I will consider myself flying again!

Have been preoccupied with getting stuff sorted out for Yule. I don't normally do stuff this early, except the pud and cake which I do at Halloween, however I wanted to try and do the bulk of it before December starts. Now I know more or less what I'm doing, and have started to spread the cost a bit by buying all the non-perishables like jars of pickles and frozen things like the Veggie roast and the boys' turkey crown before all the good (cheap) ones go. I'm not stressing which is great!

  • Better night's sleep last night and nothing much planned so hopefully I can get a fair bit done today.

I washed the sofa cushions yesterday and need to clean the arms of the sofa to match (as I now appear to have a two tone sofa!). Someone posted me a "recipe" to try so planning on giving that a go today.
