Afternoon all.
Sickies and mum's not quite right everywhere, me included and DS2 has come home from school not feeling good. Bless he said I did not get them to ring you as I have cricket trials tonight and thought I would not be able to go.
Only a little bit of tidying left to do then I'll push the hoover round. I have decided level 3 will be out of the question this week so just hoping to keep it tidy, do my dalies and a spot of cleaning here and there.
Have you lot ordered your turkeys? A friend just popped into our waitrose and they said that most of their stock have been slaughtered due to Bird FlU!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

SM I have an eco mop thing. It is a flat head (metal) which you velco on a wet cloth - like micro cloth - I love it. I'll see if I can find you a link.
It is expensive - there are probably cheaper ones. I would nto use anything else now. Had it over a year and cloth still fine - I wash it in with the towels or with all my other cloths

No flying here today - well, I polished the dining table and that was it! I did however put in a couple of hours on the allotment, and then went Christmas shopping this afternoon. I've very nearly finished the shopping, just stuff for the children, OH (always a nightmare) and my brother to get...
Working tomorrow, very little time on Wednesday, so I may just sneak in quietly on Thursday afternoon...
sexymouse - brilliant news! I really hope that you get it!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Hi Flyladies,
I'm in again this week after a week or so away. I have been Flying sort of just not reading or posting. Life's been kind of getting in the way! I'm sure I've missed loads of your news but I really hope everyone is doing ok.
Anyhow, I did the kitchen yesterday afternoon and I'm glad of it 'cos it's freezing in there. I love my house but it's so cold in the winter time.
List for this evening for me
Ironing
Cupboard/freezer stock check and vague meal plan
Check bank statement against reciepts
I think the last one will put me in a blind panic. I'm already considering smashing my lovely Terramundi (?) pot to get some cash until Friday.
I need to round up all my loyalty cards too and work out how to redeem Nectar points in Sainers against my shopping.
Time to make a move I think. The head's a buzzing but the body wants to sit and drink more hot choc 'til bedtime! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Hi,
Kitchen floors
I have been a lurker (?sp) all over MSN since April, sucking in information. I took up the advice to use stardrops - just a drop otherwise it's too soapy but it leaves no marks and is as cheap as anything - love it (have old laminate flooring).
I also got rid of my vileda mop as it got filthy really quickly, the floor was wet for ages and it didn't do round the edges very well, quite often leaving fluff and dirt on my skirting boards - shock horror I didn't need any more dirt on those!! I now use those cellulose sponges which counter-act all of the above and I can now give those old skirties a wipe at the same time! I do have to add as a slight concern I've done my floors today and my back is now a wee bit creaky this evening, mmm I wonder?LBM 17th April 2007:j

Other daughters bedroom will be tackled this week.

Not a bad day for flying here but could do with help re oven, it had been a few weeks since it last had a clean and there are a couple of marks which I couldn't get off I was warming the oven up and then spraying with stardrops and the using good old elbow grease - what does everyone else use?
Re floor mops I to binned my mop and know use a scrubbing brush and towels down on my hands and knees once a week and a quick wipe with a cloth for anything dropped in between it is a pain but its the only thing that keeps the lino clean, I found most of the mops didn't pick/clean up all the dirt.0
